you can grow greens inside but you need to grow things that you will eat shortly after they grow - salad crops really.

You can make a reflector out of tin foil and cardboard boxes.

The plants need good light but not overly strong sunlight.

Try a few things and see how you get on.

scroll down and look at the video on the right. It gives some cool details. Some chick started doing this with just some recycled bottles.

    Will...way. ;-)

You can sprout things like wheatgrass, kamut, etc. inside. You can also grow lettuce or greens indoors with either a window garden or some hydroponic device like an Aerogarden.

First of all, don't double post to get more response. Everything goes to the same feed so, we all see it.

Secondly, you can spout seeds in no light at all. Google "sprouting" or watch some YouTube vids on it. It's easy to do with just mason jars and cheesecloth.

And, you can thank people who DO take the time to respond. It'll encourage others. :)

I have done grasses in trays and other types of sprouts in jars or bags with limited or no light.

I have done green ( esp- Sunflower) in dark cover tray and opened after 1 inch tall and let them have some light from grow light

Really good for salad and smoothies
