    Default Help! Sprouting issue.....

I am new to sprouting and tried to sprout some Garbanzo beans. After 24 hours, they were still very hard so I let them soak for 2 more days. Now they are smelly, very smelly. Can I still make these into hummus or should I toss them?

    Thanks

I would toss them - it sounds like they've started to decay/ferment.

They will still be hard after soaking, but they shouldn't be "rock hard". I've only sprouted them a couple times, but I simply soaked them for about 12 hours and then sprouted.
