    Default Taking the May challenge

OK guys, I need lots of support from those of you who have been raw for a good while. I moved my attempt at the 30 challenge frome July to today and need all the support I can get. Maybe you know people who eat this style, but I actually have to keep it pretty much a secret to avoid unwelcome discourses. The only time I've tried this was 6 years ago. I was married and it didn't work for us. We quit after 8 days. I am on my own now and I want to do this!

Hi. I think that you are not alone in this and most of us here are travelling this road alone. I do not keep it a secret and never can resist an opportunity to bring it in to the conversation. I live in rural Ireland (meat and potatoes country) but still shout about how good it is to eat this way.
Stop worrying about what others think. You will have the last laugh.

You can do it Vicki. I did the challenge in March and I decided they didn't call it a challenge for nothing. Just remind yourself that its only for 30 days. Just do as Alissa says and keep food prepared and handy at all times. I kept Alissa's fudge balls handy to snack on or just grab when I needed a treat or a between meal snack.

I learned the difference between 100% raw and less than 100%. My quirky pains went away and my hormone imbalance of 3 months normalized. My skin cleared up and also my sleep patterns were better. I have been high raw for about 20 months and love it.

Please trouble us. We are here for you.

    Default Thanks so the support

Three days so far. Looked up food combining and will try to follow it's rules to see if that will solve the problems. Always thought food combining just refered to meat and starches. Thought about spending the $140 to hire a coach to email me through this effort, but untill I see good results and know I want to make it a permanent change, I will hold off spending the money. I really envy the people who are posting how good they feel. It is keeping me focused and not craving junk. Tomorrow while I'm at the hospital with my friend I may have to water fast. Maybe I can just take a bag of fruit and some nuts and raisins.

By all means take food!!!! Speaking from personal experience only: You may/will be tempted and it will be hard to consume only water, especially under stress in a hospital setting. Give yourself every chance of making this work.
