    Default how many calories do you consume in a day?

    I know this seems like a silly question, but how many calories do you all consume on a raw diet. I am about 50% raw but striving to go 100%. Anyway, my question is, with the additional nutrients obtained from juicing do you really need the same amount of calories that you would need without? Before I got pregnant I weighed about 95 - 100 lbs and ate between 800 - 1300 cals/day. Now after the baby I weigh about 115 lbs and eat about 1600 cals/day. I don't know though, eating raw I find it really difficult to even eat 800 cals. I know the reason I get more now is because I am eating crap like chocolate. Anyway, really I just want some personal experience/stories about what/how you eat raw each day and some advice on how I can do it too! Thanks in advance!!

    My advice, don't concern yourself with it and if you've not done so, get Alissa's first book and dvd's.

    I've NEVER concerned myself with calories. 100% raw currently minus olives and dressing. I just eat when hungry, sleep when tired and play all day! :)

    I tend to have to worry about them as I will undereat if I do not watch it and I do not want to loose any more weight.
    I am 5 ft 2 inches and currently weigh 107 lbs. My target is 2K calories per day and I mostly manage to get them.

    Yeah, I am worried about them because I want to make sure I am eating enough. If I only ate when hungry I would maybe manage to get 600 - 800 cals/day. I do try to include things like nuts, avacados, etc. in my diet. I guess a sample day from some of you would be helpful!
