first day of raw tomorrow!! :)
Hello everyone!
I've just found this website a couple of days ago and I already adore it!!
I am new to raw and I have enlisted the help of a wonderful raw vegan coach who I will be starting work with tomorrow. So monday april 18th will be the first day of my raw vegan lifestyle.
I can't wait to start reaping the benefits!! Your stories/photos are so inspirational and I will be blogging every step of the way on my journey.
Also I am hoping to go from 166lbs to 120lbs asap. Has anyone done this and if so how long did it take?
How did all of you start raw and what happened on your first day?
Also I'm in the uk and would to hear of any potlucks.
Much love
Emily x

Hi Emily. Welcome to RFT. I wish you the best on your journey! I started my journey gradually by collecting meal ideas and finding things we liked. We also formed our raw routine to help keep things simple. My husband and I have been raw for about 20 months.

Starting Tommorw too!!!!
Hi Emily
I am glad I found this site, I am starting to eat raw tomorrow as well. I will at least be doing 30 days.
I am interested to check out your blog. I think listening to someone doing the same thing will be great.
I live in Canada, so i dont think I will be doing any pot lucks in the UK, but I would love share my experience with someone.
Anyways I have done a 3 weeks raw food challenge before and didnt realize how great I felt until I ate cooked food. Wow raw food made me feel great and I did loose weight, but ate until I was satisfied.
Good luck tomorrow! talk to you soon

hello
DawnD - well done on 20 months. a simple routine is definitely something i need to establish, things will come so much easier then. so excited!!
chantz - how cool, we are starting together. i am so happy to be doing this. i'm being coached for 30 days then i'm on my own after that. my aim is to be 100% raw by the end of the thirty days. i can't wait to start feeling the health benefits!! message me if you want to support each other my email or something that would be great.
and about my blog, i've not done anything yet but today i will be setting it all up properly and making it all beautiful then i can post everyday. my plan is to photograph everything, i mean absolutely everything that i eat so you can all see. i'll also post links to websites i like and try and put some recipes up when i get a little more experienced. it's all very exciting stuff for me :)
much peace and love x

Hello
Thanks so much for your advice. I've been doing OK going raw but am struggling a little bit. I lost 10lbs in my first week :) sadly, I've gained a couple of pounds back from eating junk food again.
How did you do it so far? What is your eating style, what would you eat on an average day? Have you got any good advice or recipes?
Sorry for all the questions, I am so desperate to crack this and stay 100% raw once and for all!
Perhaps you would like to buddy up with me and we can send emails to help each other? if so please send me a message.
BTW - congratulations on your pregnancy
