Default Food combining with juicing and blending?

I recently read the Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity by Daniel Reid and he got me very interested in food combinations. His bit on trophology and basically not mixing macronutrients got me wondering about the smoothies and juices I see being made by raw food lovers, David Wolfe, Liferegenerator etc. They are all mixing berries, fats, agave(which I would think counts as an added sweetener), and many other foods shown to be incompatible in many alkaline/acid diets and trophology. Then I see juicers mixing acidic fruits to other fruits and into green smoothies/juices, is this okay?

What are some of your takes on this subject?

    Thanks!

If it doesn't upset my tummy... I'm cool with it. I go by how I feel... not by how someone says I should in a book. :)

I like that philosophy, I've always listened to my body, then I'll read a book and become paranoid, it's just the way I am but I am working on it lol.

I'm with Aleesha. I basically go with my intuition. If what I'm seeing looks and feels good, then, in it goes!

I tend NOT to blend a whole bunch of stuff like some here do... mostly some fruit, greens and juice. Occasionally, I may add some nuts or nut/seed milk to the mix.

See I really like green smoothies that contain; banana, hemp seeds or chia sees, heavy greens and coconut milk which just seems like a lot to me, I usually feel fine after consumption if I do not go to heavy on the coconut milk(that stuff is RICH). I also like fruit smoothies with cacoa, maca, seeds, banana, frozen berries, coconut milk, agave and ice/water. Do either of those seem too complex? I feel pretty good after them, but I am also new and have not consumed them consistently. I also just ordered my tribest personal blender :) (I know it is no vitamix, but reviews and owners all tell me it is better than most countertop blenders on the market and I need something small and convenient in the dorms).
