Default Going on vacation to Mayan Riviera, bringing food?

    Hi,

We'll be going to an all-inclusive vacation this summer to Mayan Riviera. I know all-inclusives are not the best for food, but otherwise this hotel was a great choice for our family. I was wondering what kind of food I could possibly bring for our toddler (17 months-to-be). If you are going on vacation with a little one, do you bring anything with you? We are not 100% raw, but I make a green smoothie in Vitamix every day, and he likes his homemade cereals with freshly ground brown rice or quinoa. So these things he won't have for a week! I don't want him to go hungry or eat deep fried and highly processed foods. He likes fruit if it's cut into very small pieces or pureed (mango, apples, pears). We don't do cow's milk, but I make fresh almond milk, and also buy hemp and coconut milks. I'm still breastfeeding, so hopefully he'll get some nutrition that week that way! We eat some cheese but are not crazy with cheeses. For dinner he has baked potato or yam, steamed greens, garbanzo beans. I bet the resort won't have those! So, anything I could take ahead of time and any advice on traveling with a toddler?

    Thanks
