    Default Saf- Kensington-London-UK

I visited Saf in Kensington, London Saturday gone.

    http://www.safrestaurant.co.uk/kensi...estaurant-bar/

Part of the food hall above the Whole Foods Market, two floors of Eden.

We had flax crackers with pesto cashew cheese. This was amazing, I definitely want to try and make some cheese myself one day.

    We had the maki rolls.

We had a salad each. I did get a bit bored of mine towards the end.

And then had the ganache torte on a pecan base. Way to rich.

Our juices were great. My friend had one that simulated fizzy champagne.

I learnt a couple of things. That I put way too much sprouted seeds in my salads, a few is all you need.

And that I never want a dessert after a meal. A dessert IS a meal and should be eaten as a meal when one desires something sweet.

Service was slow and not that helpful or friendly. Serving salad with chopsticks was kinda tortuous.

Food was great and reasonably priced. Free ionised water on tap. A great visit.

Lovely! I got to go to SAF a couple years ago to train with Chad Sarno and totally loved the place. Their desserts were quite rich... would be a lovely breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I like the way you think! ;)

Next time I'm in London I'll have to check that out. :)

I don't think there's really raw restaurants in my area. Raw food is not very Scottish. We're well known for our fried food and alcoholism.

I did find a good Scottish raw food website though so if there is anything opening in Glasgow I'll hear about it.
