    Default Angel 7500 juicer

    Hi,
I am thinking about buying an angel juicer. If you have any experience with it, please share your opinions. Thanks a lot :)

I've not had any experience with it -- but it looks absolutely wonderful. I have the Green Star which uses the same principals of juicing, only not a complete stainless steel system. I know if for any reason I had to replace my GreenStar, I'd definitely take a serious look at the Angel -- even tho it is a bit pricey.

I think there is an Angel that is a little cheaper that doesn't have the automatic reverse option.

    abc,

Have you decided about the Angel juicer yet? I am also very interested in it and have spent a lot of time reading about it. I have the Hurom, but not been as happy with it as I thought I would be (i.e. the strainer basket broke apart several months after purchase, etc).

I've noticed some web sites are selling the Angel juicer for $30 off and free shipping for the holidays. It's really tempting, but that's a lot money $$.

On the fence whether to get the model 5500 or the 7500.

I'll be interested in hearing about your decision. Did you watch the videos on YouTube about the Angel juicer?

Oh, one other thought. I read on a web site that the automatic reverse function on Model 7500 comes into action suddenly even when not in jamming (overload) situation due to too sensitiveness of the sensor. They were therefore recommending the 5500 which has a manual reverse button.

    Mtrose,

yes, I have watched videos on YouTube. So far I've decided that I will buy Angel juicer. Basically, I am preparing myself for Gerson Therapy (not for cancer) and that is why I am searching for a juicer that will produce good quality juice. I don't want to buy Norwalk (or Champion + hydraulic press as an alternative to Norwalk), because using Norwalk would be too much time consuming for me. (Moreover, I am not convinced to Champion, because it has a very fast rotation that may impact negatively quality of juice, in my opinion/ but I may be wrong).
So - I spend quite a lot of time searching in the Internet and it looks that angel would be the best one for me (right after Norwalk, which is considered to be #1 in terms of juice quality). The advantages of Angel is that it has a slow rotation and is made of stainless steel (by the way I think there is a new model with upgraded quality of stainless steel - 8500 Deluxe, but it's more expensive than 7500).

I was very eager to buy an angel juicer at one point. I was trying to do some research on them but found it very difficult to get information - websites, contact details, even dealers in the EU. Anyhow I got in touch with a youtube channel who reviews juicers and asked why they never reviewed the angel juicer. He said that he ceased doing business with them since they owe him alot of money and they never replied to his request for a sample juicer to demo on.

I decided not to take the chance since it was soo expensive and if a part broke I would be on my own (it felt that way at the time). Also I thought the clean up looked a bit labouring -such a big filter etc to clean. However, I would think that the Angel is probably one of the best juicers going in terms of extraction.

I bought an omega 8006 and love it.

    Hi guys,

few weeks ago I bought the Angel juicer 7500. I must say that I like it very much - the pulp is VERY dry.
It's easy to clean - I don't know maybe it takes around 2-3 minutes to clean it.

Basically, I am very satisfied with the Angel. So far I didn't have any problems with it.
It's hard for me to compare it with other juicers, because I don't have any experience with other juicers, except my old centrifugal juicer which is much worse than the Angel :)

In my opinion - it is a very good juicer, but quite expensive.

I just got my Angel 5500 juicer today and have used it once, so my feedback isn't worth much yet, but I like it so far! The pulp is very dry (my previous juicer was a L'Equip) and it isn't very hard to clean at all. The machine is heavy and seems like good quality parts. I'm so looking forward to juicing for my family!

Yippee on getting your new juicer gfmother! I switch between my greenstar and hurom juicers - they both have their strong and weak points. Looking forward to hearing more reports on the Angel 5500!
    Cheers

i was split between Angel, Green Star Elite and Vert. in the end i went with GSE.

i decided not to get Vert because i did not want my food processed by a plastic part. Ultem plastic may be certified food safe but mercury dental fillings and fluoride in drinking water are also supposed to be safe so ...

i decided not to go with Angel because price premium seemed too much. on the motor base side Angel has twice the warranty of GSE so twice the price can be justified there. but on the parts side GSE parts are about 10 times cheaper and Angel parts are only 1 year warranty. i think to be competitive angel would have to either make the parts warranty longer or reduce the price to about $750.

also i felt safer going with a company that has worked in the US for decades than a company that has only been in the US since 2006.

it would be interesting to see somebody other than euJuicers do a head to head comparison between GSE and Angel. the Angel being twice as expensive they simply HAD to have it win the juice-off if they hoped to sell any of them at all - so they could have been biased there.

don't be shy guys - make some videos and post them on youtube!

anyway i should be getting my GSE next week.
