Just wanted to say hello!
Being raw inspired me in so many ways. Unfortunately I fell off the bandwagon, so to speak. It's weird, I wasn't even seeing the raw diet as a "diet," it changed the way I began to think. I guess it's sort of a self-destruction thing; maybe I was uncomfortable not craving junk food, if that makes sense. I just wasn't ready to let go of it. Has anyone else experienced that?
One good thing that came out of my becoming raw was that I became vegan. I was only raw for two months before, and I've been eating cooked again for two months. Although I'm not 100 percent raw anymore, I guess I've made a lot of progress.
Being raw did wonders for my skin. Even on my etsy, I suggest that people incorporate raw veggies and green smoothies into their diets (I make raw skincare products.) Honestly, I'm very excited about the raw lifestyle and I'd love to take it up again. It would be nice to actually use my dehydrator and food processor. It's funny, I decided to buy the stuff right when I started eating cooked food. Go figure!
Best wishes to everyone!
Kelly
