Default Do you make "Smoothie" Water?

    I do!

Fresh raw ingredients can sometimes be expensive and I like to get all the benefits I can from the foods I buy and prepare.

For instance, after I make my Green Smoothies and the blender container is empty, before I wash it, I add 16 oz. of purified or filtered water and turn on the blender just to mix up the remains of the smoothie and water. I drink this later on to add to my daily water intake and it makes cleaning out the blender canister easy!

I plan to start making "crackers" out of the fibrous remains from juicing too.

I do things like that as I have a seriously economic streak in me. I use just a little water in the dirty blender and I drink it immediately after my smoothie as I feel that adding a little of that to my water and having it between meals will activate my digestive system without giving it anything worthwhile to digest. I want my between meals drink to be just water.
Something else that I do is I add either water or rejuvelac to the pulp after juicing and by the time I am finished my juice I put that through again and get more. I know that the fact that there is a lot of colour in the result means that there is still a lot of nutrients in it so I feel that it is worthwhile.

Great idea to add some water of rejuvelac! I've run the pulp through the juicer again, but never thought to add some water to it.

    ehmm.....

I just do it naturally to get the most out of it what I blend. Whatever stays left behind is still useful.

Some would find it disgusting but I dont care, it's just veggies and fruit!

It is fine. You will not even notice that it is in there.

I normally put the remains of the blender on my plants. I barely have enough space for the last sip of my juice/smoothie to drink another 1+ pint(s) of water.
I would have no problem drinking it though and its a great way to put it to use. Although, I'm not mad about the foamy leftovers that stick to the sides of my juice jar - didnt hear the plants compain about it yet
