I have been eating mostly raw for over a year and a half. I say mostly because I don't want to be so strict that I become unsocial, or unable to eat anything but raw when I am out with friends etc. I am fairly strict though about cutting out refined sugar and even fruit, but that is because I battle high blood sugar.
Bottom line I have lost 25 lbs and kept it off, and gotten my blood sugar down low enough that I don't have to take a daily oral medication. My doctor was impressed with my progress and gave me his blessing. Love the simple raw diet!!!
