wtf?
Where am I suppose to ask questions.. if they all get deleted? Like seriously? At first I thought this site was really cool, until I realized how nazi and communist/ controlling the staff is.
I guess I'll just have to find another raw or health forum

I'm not a moderator here, just an appreciative forum member. This forum has a focus, it is not a free for all. There are a lot of sites like that, unfortunately you will find a lot of bickering on them. We simply choose to focus on a general approach to eating raw. I too have had threads censored and don't necessarily agree with everything but clearly see that the value outweighs the problems. May I suggest reevaluating the maturity of your conversations, it could lead to some personal growth. Feel free to email me if you need to vent or want some references for other forums.

You've got 34 posts. They're not ALL getting deleted are they?
Suggestion ~ Read "Rules for Posting" and the "Mission Statement".

As I've discussed with you in emails... please refrain from asking questions about drugs and alcohol (especially since you are minor). Also, as Rev suggested, reading the posting guidelines is a good way to learn what is and is not allowed on Alissa's forum.
Here's a few links for you:
Mission Statement and Rules for Posting - here
Guidelines for when your posts are deleted - here
And one more - here
Please know you are very welcome here. We all have a learning curve when we arrive on what is and is not appropriate for this forum. But as you can see by the amount of people who have been here for years... it's worth it!
So... welcome - get comfy... and do some reading. :)

uh ok whatever lol.
I have one more thing though.
Why can't I mention 801010 diet? When I mention it it gets deleted... I think people should know that mixing large amounts of fats and sugar is bad. It's scientifical.
Especially when someone says what is going wrong and they mention how they just ate 5 avocados and 1j0 bananas and are wondering what could be wrong with what their eating... It's just wrong to delete a post about toning down fats if that's what they should do.
-
because this isn't the forum to discuss 80-10-10. You can go to his forum and post all you like. This is for people who wish to have support following Alissa's philosophy. Do you know what that is? Cause it seems to me, by reading your posts - that you don't understand what her philosophy is.
And calling the moderators names... isn't tolerated. Hence... you post got deleted. Please be polite... this forum is family friendly.
-
uh.. what? quote from mission statement:
You do not have to be 100% raw or even 50% raw, but you do need to be supportive of this lifestyle and striving towards or interested in this raw vegan diet.
So how is 801010 (which is still 100% raw) not fall into that statement?
-
Originally RFT was set up for the support of a raw and living food diet as pertaining to Alissa’s Living on Live Food book and DVDs. We realize that there are so many different ways to do a raw and living food diet and that sometimes you start out one way and it gradually moves you toward another goal.
We totally support you in that process but we are now committing this board to the support of a raw and living food diet as outlined in Alissa’s book and DVD. Does this mean that you HAVE to be 100% raw in order to post here? No, but it does mean that you have to be in support of this diet and those who are striving to be 100% raw, again, in accordance with Alissa's book and DVD.
Does that help you understand?

I understand she is all raw, but she says nothing about how you can't have variations of being raw... or anything about how it's wrong or she is against it.. which it seems you are.
I think it's kind of immature to just delete posts that you don't fully agree with.
-
You have a right to your own opinion Jake. But this forum is here to support people who CHOOSE to follow Alissa's philosophy. I don't know how many times I have to repeat that one to ya.
-
Alissa did mentioned somewhere that she really doesn't care for discussions of fruitarian diet or 801010. When I first joined, I remembered reading that somewhere. So I guess I'll have to go back and read the rules and such to see where I read that. If I do, then I'll post it.

He's already been given this info... and these links... but... here you go: from here
1. No threads/discussions dedicated to “other” approaches to raw foods. This includes such diets as 8-1-1, low-fat, low-fruit, natural hygiene, fruitarian, raw meat/dairy-eating, mono-eating, no-grains, no-fruit etc. There are boards dedicated to almost every approach to raw foods such as these mentioned above. But they will not be discussed in detail here and promoted here. Again, this board is for support of a raw and living food diet as outlined in Alissa’s book and DVD. If you don’t own the book and are not familiar with Alissa’s concept for eating raw, it is stated further down below these rules and guidelines.
and
9. No posts that advocate eating cooked food. Now, we're not talking those questionable things like Nama Shoyu, cashews, nutritional yeast and such but rather outright cooked food entrees and dishes such as fast food, steamed vegetables or cooked rice or candy bars

This is true yet, my suggestion ~ go to the 80/10/10 forum and talk about Alissa's way of eating, or go to the fruitarian forum and talk about eating otherwise. EACH forum has been created for something specific ~ No, Alissa does not say that you can't have variations on raw yet, she does say why this forum was created and she is paying for it.
or anything about how it's wrong or she is against it.. which it seems you are.
As far as I know, Alissa's not "against" whatever anyone wants to do in or with their lives. Her rules pertain to THIS forum only and the mods are here to support her.
I think it's kind of immature to just delete posts that you don't fully agree with.
I think it's immature to be here; get as much help as you're getting, then whine about the policies that are making this forum what it is.
Suggestion ~ be a bit more grateful.... there are LOTS of forums out there... choose one that suits YOUR needs. If this isn't it... so be it!
-
In my opinion--just follow the rules for posting!!! If posts are deleted --accept it!! There is a good reason for it! I appreciate the mods for enforcing the rules!! Thanks --that keeps this very excellent forum what it is!!
-
I just want to say that I feel it's unfair to delete someone's post about alcohol on the grounds that they are a minor - because this varies from state to state and even more so country-wise. OP may be a minor in California but they could be perfectly legal here in England...
