I'm still making my dish, but with the weather my electric company has decided to do roving blackouts!!! Which means every hour or so they CUT MY ELECTRICITY OFF FOR 15-20 MINUTES AT A TIME!!!! Bummer, cuz I'm trying to make my Eggplant Bacon and it's puttin' a CRAMP in my Dehydrating!!!! I definitely want the Bacon to put it all together, so I'm gonna just keep it in there till tomorrow and hopefully it'll get crispy enough for the recipe!
In the meantime, it's been a mostly fruitarian day for me! I'm putting a little "spin" on Alissa's Banana Leather!!! I put whole berries in it: Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, and Blackberries!!! When it's solid (hopefully the electricity will stay on long enough for that!!!), I'll cut them into fruit squares!!! ...totally my kids' idea!!! Cool, huh!
Thought I'd sharer dinner with everyone tonight!!!!!!
YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! AAAHH, was THAT as GOOD for YOU as it was for ME!!!!!!! :-D
O.k., probably not, but this Gnocchi Carbonara is just to LIVE FOR!!!!! You guys just HAVE to make this!!!!! It got a little messy for a minute, but it was worth it to lick my fingers!!!!!! I remember this from Grezzo!!! I loved it then and I love it now!
Thanks Alissa!!!!!! Another A+ Recipe!!!!!
Oh, I forgot to put the finished photo of the Chips on this thread too!!!!

ReneeH that all looks soooooooo good! Right now I have apples in the D so I can add them to my granola tomorrow, what a great idea!
I am making Calzones right now!! I am so excited I cant wait till its all done! I avoided making these cause it just looked so complicated, but its really not. So ReneeH is right, its easy. I cannot wait till lunch tomorrow cause that's what I am eating. I made a double batch so I can freeze some for when I have nothing made and need a quick meal.
For breakfast I have eaten the Oat Groat Porridge from RFFE page 200 and love it but it doesn't love me digestion issues. So I tried the Chia Pudding RFFE page 202 and its my new favorite breakfast. I add raisins, two types of chopped apples, lots of cinnamon and some pecans. Its so good and filling. If you haven't tried it you have to. My SAD family all like it.
I am going to take pictures tomorrow and try to upload them to show you all.
Well everyone have a great night!
Kjduf, that is SO great!!! I can't WAIT to drool over YOUR photos!!!
Yea, the Calzone is one of my FAVORITES!!! It freezes very well!!! An hour or two before you are ready to eat, just pop it in the D, frozen and all!!! No need to defrost first. The D will do it for you!!!
HEY ALISSA!!! I got my Lobster Mushrooms today!!!!! You know what that means!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
Hey Renee got a question.... Do you make the marinara sauce to go with the calzones?
I still cant believe how easy that recipe is. I have been raw for 11 months and always look at the pictures and think wow that is so hard. I think one of these days I will make those.
TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!!!
gosh i wanna come to your house for dinner.
(singing.....) "Come on over-come on in....Pull up a seat-take a load off your feet...." You're welcome ANYtime!!!!
Are you still posting here about these recipes? I love this thread and wanted to bump it up!
Thanks RawDelight! Actually, I've been posting on the Monthly Challenge Thread and have been extremely busy with my Raw Business! But, YES...I am still working on this thread too! Thanks so much for the "bump"!!! It's nice to see someone else interested in this thread!!!!!
Renee I love your kids' ideas for the fruit leather!!
