    Hey yau'll!

I'm still making my dish, but with the weather my electric company has decided to do roving blackouts!!! Which means every hour or so they CUT MY ELECTRICITY OFF FOR 15-20 MINUTES AT A TIME!!!! Bummer, cuz I'm trying to make my Eggplant Bacon and it's puttin' a CRAMP in my Dehydrating!!!! I definitely want the Bacon to put it all together, so I'm gonna just keep it in there till tomorrow and hopefully it'll get crispy enough for the recipe!

In the meantime, it's been a mostly fruitarian day for me! I'm putting a little "spin" on Alissa's Banana Leather!!! I put whole berries in it: Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, and Blackberries!!! When it's solid (hopefully the electricity will stay on long enough for that!!!), I'll cut them into fruit squares!!! ...totally my kids' idea!!! Cool, huh!

    Unhappy

ReneeH that all looks soooooooo good! Right now I have apples in the D so I can add them to my granola tomorrow, what a great idea!

I am making Calzones right now!! I am so excited I cant wait till its all done! I avoided making these cause it just looked so complicated, but its really not. So ReneeH is right, its easy. I cannot wait till lunch tomorrow cause that's what I am eating. I made a double batch so I can freeze some for when I have nothing made and need a quick meal.

For breakfast I have eaten the Oat Groat Porridge from RFFE page 200 and love it but it doesn't love me digestion issues. So I tried the Chia Pudding RFFE page 202 and its my new favorite breakfast. I add raisins, two types of chopped apples, lots of cinnamon and some pecans. Its so good and filling. If you haven't tried it you have to. My SAD family all like it.

I am going to take pictures tomorrow and try to upload them to show you all.

Well everyone have a great night!

Kjduf, that is SO great!!! I can't WAIT to drool over YOUR photos!!!
Yea, the Calzone is one of my FAVORITES!!! It freezes very well!!! An hour or two before you are ready to eat, just pop it in the D, frozen and all!!! No need to defrost first. The D will do it for you!!!

HEY ALISSA!!! I got my Lobster Mushrooms today!!!!! You know what that means!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Hey Renee got a question.... Do you make the marinara sauce to go with the calzones?

I still cant believe how easy that recipe is. I have been raw for 11 months and always look at the pictures and think wow that is so hard. I think one of these days I will make those.

    TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!!!

COOL!!!! Yes! I do make the marinara sauce for the Calzones!!! It really makes it look pretty before I totally devour it, savoring all the delicious flavors as they all melt in my mouth, bite by bite BY DELICIOUS BITE!!!!!

Put the sauce on right before you eat it, though...don't freeze it with the sauce on....

This is just what I needed -- i know ive been mia, but i'm back with some pics to finally post.. ive been fasting off and on the last few months and I am again on another fast for the next 30 days, but I am going to at least upload the pics I had before..

sweetpotato chips - they were so small - its like they shrunk to nothing when dehydrated.. but my 21 month old really liked them. Soaking them really made the difference.. maybe i soaked too long?

walnut pesto stuffed mushrooms -- super duper tasty!

an easy going salad to go with my papaya steak -- ooh delish!!
