Default Skin cleansing/ and Getting the hang of things

Do any of you use something for cleansing your skin? I'm taking about your face that would be natural and healthy.

This is off that topic-- just a comment- I am so thrilled with myself. I've gotten so much better at getting a great salad at a restaurant. I would ask for a salad and get this tiny thing. Now I get their meat salads--(as long as they are big pieces sitting on top) and give it to my dogs. They love me!!! That way I get a huge salad with more "stuff" in it and my boys think it is wonderful!!

LOL. I do the same, just ask for the meat/seafood on the side - and my husband eats it... Works for me.

I honestly just use warm water and a wash cloth. I haven't a product or anything else on my face in a very long time. I do dry brush my entire body, face included. I try to do that daily, but I don't always have time. *Ü*

Default Skin cleansing/and getting the hang of things

Boy, I wish I could get away with just warm water and a wash cloth. It seems that drier, very sensitive skin types can do this and in fact that's exactly what's recommended, especially if one doesn't wear any makeup. Since I still have some oil in my skin at the ripe old age of 63, I also have pores that fill up easily and my skin type needs more exfoliation in general. And I do wear a bit of makeup and natural sunblock. However, my skin is also somewhat reactive, so I have to be careful exactly what goes on it and stays on for any length of time. I can use an AHA cleanser, but not a cream containing such. For creams, my own shea butter-coconut cream works well, applied lightly - a little goes a long way, and it's excellent for body and feet as well. In fact, it's fab after a home pedicure(no polish though - my feet are au naturel.)
