Red face Away from home and raw

Well this is the first time I've been away from home since being raw (only been raw for 7 weeks) and I didn't have any trouble at the all you can eat bar. I'm at a 2 day teacher conference and had lunch so far. I had 2 plates of a huge salad with all the good stuff plus added my own- raisins, walnuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. It was quite yummy! I brought a raw bar and ate that too. Plan on eating another nice salad for dinner! This is the life!!

    Good for you!

I'm going away for a week (Disney) and decided to have a service ship Raw meals to me while I'm there. I love salads, but I would lose my mind eating them for lunch and dinner each day.

Which Disney are you going to. There are probably raw restaurants nearby.

Orlando - will be at Coronado Springs. I've been checking and searching on the internet (though I know EVERYTHING isn't on the internet).

    Got any ideas?

Winter Park has a raw restaurant. I keep missing it, but my daughter has been there.

Thanks Sport. Is it a bus or taxi ride away? I'm not getting a rental car.

Cafe 118 IS the one in Winter Park. Not a close taxi ride - and probably out of bus range without too many transfers to count.

Thanks! I logged the directions and it's 35 minutes away by car. Oh well! Back to plan A! Maybe I can arrange a delivery for a week's worth of food from them...

I'll try to ask my wife in a while. I know she has checked for the vegan restaurants in the Orlando to St. Aug. area. I am in Palm Coast and know there are farmers markets in Flagler, a Raw or vegan restaruant in St. Augustine, if you can travel north one day. The fort and mall in ST Aug might be worth a visit too, for you. I also heard of a farmers market in New Smyrna....some of the same folks that are at the Flagler market on Fridays are in New Smyrna on saturdays. If you hit one of those, look for barefoot bill's stand (he'll be the guy with no shoes, hehe). He had lots of cuc's, squash, and I think some shrooms and t'maters ( I can't eat maters so I didn't pay too close attention to them.

Having a cuc with fresh basil and rosemary from plants I bought at flagler friday. I had to get plants to feed my gardening habit while away from home..Fell asleep in the pool and got a little parched. MMmmmmm! it's so good.

Ok, checked, She knew of nothing in orlando either. Only the raw place in St. Augustine, The Present Moment. And a Vegan one called Dancing Avocado in Daytona Beach.
She say you can check the website HappyCow for places.

I plan on using RAWvolution. They ship all over and they're located in Cali.
It $120 for their "Box." I emailed them with the dates I would need the service and they said no problem. I am not sure of the shipping cost, but I'm prepared to pay.
