I got my (crappy, $30) blender and food processor this morning. I was very excited to get things going. I went out and picked up $20 in fruits and greens for my first green smoothie!

    Here's my green smoothie concoction:
    2 handfuls of spinach
    whole peach
    whole banana
    whole orange
    grapes
    baby coconut water
    1/2 lemon juiced
    ice

And here's the result. This was blended as much as possible, but not so bad for a $30 blender. I wanted to get a cheap one to see how much I'd use it before I went for a VitaMix.

    Cheers!

It's a pretty color - but more importantly, how does it taste??

Tasted great actually. Could have used more greens, maybe some kale! Right now I'm feeling almost buzzed after drinking that whole thing.. Can feel it flowing through me! Pretty awesome.

i'm waiting on my birthday I've my wants to the 'wantthisbad fairy' and we will see if I get the 37.00 food processor or the 45.00 nesco dehydrator. if I get neither then I'll order them both.

i've been using my 2 cup mini processor and I've decided that I must go big or go home.
