Talking What did you eat and how much weight did you lose?

I'm assuming the majority of you lost weight while going raw. My question is: what worked for you??

Did you mainly eat greens and fruits, or nuts and dried fruits? Did you eat a combination, and if so how much? What was your meal plan like and how much weight did you lose in that time?

    Thanks!

I have been eating mostly raw for a few weeks and so far have lost about a pound per week. I eat a good amount of seeds and nuts but mostly try to fill up on fresh fruits and veggies. Good luck!

I ate intuitively. It started with a lot of green smoothies (to replace the energy boost I usually got from coffee), and lettuce-wraps. Then I went through a stage with a LOT of nuts and nut butters. Then a bunch of dates and desserts. Now I'm pretty balanced, but probably consume more fruits than veggies, and not many smoothies.
I'm not certain how much I weighed when I started out, but I lost probably about ten to fifteen pounds, maintained that for a few months and have now put five back on (probably due to all those desserts).

I began about 14, 15 years ago with about 5 other people. At that time we didn't have smoozies, or all the recipes that are available now. We mostly at nut and seed-based burgers, and ALL of us eliminated excess weight which many of us could not afford to lose at that time.

When I first went raw I ate alot of desserts/ big salads, more nuts. After the transition my salads were lighter, less nuts & desserts, more smoothies. Now I eat a ton of fruit! I don't eat many nuts....as they don't settle well with me. My fat of choice is avacadoes.

I don't weigh, but I'd say I've lost about 10-15pounds. I fluctuate alot. I didn't lose weight right away, it took a while. Simple meals work the best for me

I've lost about 30 lbs. since early May. Much of it was in the first couple weeks and about 1-2 lb. per week since. I have about that much more to go, so I'm basically pleased with the result. Hopefully the skin loss can keep up with the weight loss, lol. Don't want to be saggy baggy, ya know, lol.

my daughter went high raw on feb 1st. i haven't weighted her but she's released all her excess weight by eating mostly raw.

she has salad for dinner every night and some fruit during the day. otherwise, what she is eats is low-fat cooked food.

I drank green smoothies every day for the first year, some salads and fruits.
Am now to lighter fare, lots of green juices.

Weight was neither an issue nor a goal. It just happened however.
    I dont know as I never weigh. I say I was a size 11/12 and now 6/8.
