Hey,
I bought an Omega Vert quite recently and the strainer broke for the second time. The first time I put half a lime in it and it cracked the strainer lenghtways and had it replaced. The toughest thing I juice is carrots and I make sure things are cut up small as to not to stress the juicer/parts. Now I see there is a problem with the strainer again but this time it's the plastic notch at the base of the strainer which is about to come off like a loose tooth.
I am a little frustrated to be honest. I like the speed of the juicer and it's not bad to wash but its out of action waiting on parts as much as it is working and I find the juice pulpy compared to my old juicer.
I was so close to getting the Omega 8006 instead but decided not to and really regret it. I dont really know what to do now- send the broken part away again (its EU to US so takes 3weeks minimum) or write a letter and ask for a refund or exchange for another juicer. Any ideas? Thanks for reading:)
