Default Can I safely blend wheatgrass in Vita-mix?

    Hello, Everyone!
I'm new to this forum & raw food. I'm not sure how to consume wheatgrass. Can I blend it in the Vita-mix, sift it to seperate the solids (similar to the way you'd prepare almond milk), and then consume the juice?
Also, would I be able to simply keep the solids in, drinking the blended wheatgrass & water contents entirely or would this be undigestable?
I know this may sound like a silly to some of you but I really am not sure how to go about it as I mostly read about wheatgrass being juiced through an actual juicing machine.
    Thank you kindly.

I have a couple of raw friends who do not have juicers, so they make their WG juice exactly the way you describe -- like nut milk.

You can also just blend it with fruit for a Green Smoothie!

Be sure to cut the wheat grass into about 1" pieces - this will prevent the grass from winding around the blades.

Default grass cut in half will blend nicely -

I add it early so it is alone with apple or cuke or... and cup of water and the BLENDTEC blades "Smoothie-it" up well.

I started with Dried Wheatgrass powder in my green smoothies

now amazed at How GREEN the grass makes the mix even with kale or collards or spinach

Hi there. Glad you are embarking on a new raw path. Everyone of us had to start somewhere....

You can find cheap "nutmilk-type bags" at the paint store that work great for wheatgrass in a blender.. They are 1 gallon paint strainer bags and work great. They're about $1.50 each. The kind with the elastic tops are the best, IMO.

    Good luck,
