    Question "Butter" Sauce

I will love you people forever if you can help me with a craving!

I am having a ridiculous craving for pasta with butter sauce. This used to be a Saturday night tradition, so no wonder I'm feeling it! I have a zucchini, and loved my zucchini noodles I made for Alissa's fettuccine alfredo, so that is covered. But how do I make the sauce?

I feel like its something simple that I just don't realize. Like putting together some oil and salt. I also have nutritional yeast and various other spices (like I think a clove of garlic will be delicious too!) but I'm just not sure what to use and in what proportions to mimic buttery sauce.

    Help?!

    I've never tried these.

    Butter Sauce:
    Tbs Olive Oil
    Parsley, chopped
    1 Garlic, clove
    Dash Black Pepper

    Butter:
    ½ cup Coconut butter/oil

    4 cups Coconut Meat
    1 ½ Lemons peeled

    ½ cup Flax seed oil

    1 tsp Salt
    Blend until thick & smooth.

Thank you Dimond! I'm still such a "make it yourself!" newbie I felt hesitant to even try mixing things without some sort of guidance. Plus I wasn't sure what exactly would be "buttery" together. Seems my inclination to just throw some olive oil and garlic (parsley and pepper sounds good too!) together might be just fine :) and give me that greasy buttery sensation I am looking for too. Hurray!

Of course now I pigged out on baby carrots and banana and am not hungry! Woops!

If you can get your hands on some, Majestic Garlic is just dreamy! I love sundried tomato jalapeno flavor using spinach leaves as a chip to dip in it... I hope my WF gets more soon! (it's usually sold near the pre-cut produce)

The best raw vegan butter I have found is as follows:

1/2 cup pine nuts pureed until smooth and creamy
1/8 cup olive oil (pour over pine nuts while blending
pinch salt or my favorite pinch truffle salt

If wanting to make a little cheesy flavored add the nutritional yeast (just about 1 Tbl. as you don't want the flavor to overwhelm the delicious combo of pine nuts and olive oil). This is delicous on its own and over a bed of fresh, slightly warmed zuccini. If you want to add a bit more to it, marinate sun dried tomatoes in a high quality balsamic, with some fresh basil and garlic, you can also add thinly sliced mushrooms of your choice to the marinating tomatoes. Toss the marinated tomatoes in with the zuccini, top with butter sauce and a bit of pine nut parmesean and you will no longer have any cravings for other pasta dishes. I have this when I am feeling like I need something decadent!

I actually threw together some things to make a salad dressing and it ended up tasting buttery to me, not sure if it would to others.

    1 cup olive oil
    5 garlic cloves
    1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    pinch of celtic sea salt

No need to do that, I only recommended it out of my love for it. :) It's pricey to order online (from what I understand it's made in southern Cali then distributed to local stores/farmers markets) so I would love to know your experience with online ordering.
