Organic cosmetics/body products???
I did a search here and found some information, but much of it old. What are you using for facial moisurizers and/or body oils.
I have been using coconut oil on my face, but find it makes my under-eye puffy. (Yes, it's the ONLY change; and I can replicate the problem). I do keep it away from that area now, but would like at least an eye cream/gel that will help my puffies.
I am using an all organic Out of Aftrica product (shea butter, avocado oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, vit. E and verbena for fragrance) as body oil. I like this very much.
How about make-up? hair care? toothpaste? Organic, of course. Any recommendations?

I don't use anything on my face except for an occasional scrub which I make myself. IF I feel the need to use something after being out in the sun, pure shea butter.
I don't wear make-up.

toothpaste? I've looked at a ton of "natural" ones, checked online and found the cheater organic things. I'm getting confused.
I used baking soda and salt as a child... really don't want to go that route again.
any help would be appreciated.

Haha! I love this topic, it's my forte!
For lots of undereye puffiness, juice some cucumber and soak an organic cotton eye makeup pad in the juice then lay it over the eye and undereye area for at least ten minutes. For extra strength, place either the juice or the soaked makeup pads into the fridge to cool then beforehand.
This is a similar method to the cucumber on the eyes, but much more effective as the juice soaks into the skin more readily.

thanks for the cucumber tip!
I am all over that.
um...
-I use coconut oil on my face and body as a cleanser and moisturizer. It works for me.
-I also use 100% pure cocoa butter on my skin.
-I made a salve that I use if my hands and/or feet are particularly tired/dry.
It is made from Comfry, Lavender, red clover, olive oil and bees wax.
I use a store bought organic toothpaste. I can't remember what it's called. It has very few ingredients and appears to be as natural as I can get without making my own/using a single ingredient like coconut oil or something, and I'm very touchy about my teeth. They NEED to be clean. so i am relying on store bought right now.
-I don't wash my hair.
-I use a Organics mascara and eye liner sometimes, but other than that, no makeup.
I'd love to know if there is something better to use for my teeth. I have a lot of filled cavities from my SAD days so I need to take good care of my teeth.

I used Mountain Rose Herbs: Organic virgin coconut oil and non-organic coconut oil, bulk herbs, oils and grains and many other herbs from the Southern Hemisphere, both non-organic and organic.

If you can tolerate it (I can't) coconut oil on the face is fine, but DO NOT USE IT AROUND THE EYES. The information I have is that there are absorption issues with the tissues around the eyes. I don't know what that means, but based on your experience with under-eye puffy, I'm guessing that could be the issue.
For organic handmade skincare, I use Bella di Terra and Simply Divine Botanicals. Both of these skin care lines are organic and made with love and care. In my opinion, worth every penny. :) I'm 56, and my skin has never been better.

I buy lots of things on Etsy. You can find lots of artisan's that use organic ingredients without chemicals or nasty preservatives.
Here is one I like they have lots of organic cleansers and such.

All natural make-up

If you get on Etsy and do a search for toothpase lots of natural toothpastes come up. Actually there are lots of sellers on Etsy that sell organic natural products but those are just a few on my radar.

I use organic (cold pressed) coconut oil for brushing my teeth. It whitens them as well. I also oil pull with coconut oil.
I like using organic olive oil and jojoba oil on my skin. *Ü*

Anyone know of a good homemade wax recipe?

I use Vicco Ayurvedic as it is the only one that I could find that is glycerine free and I have read that glycerine prevents your teeth from remineralising.
I use coconut oil during the day.

I think that your skin reflects what you put inside more than what you put outside. Get plenty of silica and other skin feeding nutrients inside your body and your skin will thank you.
