what sprouts (can/or should not) be eaten raw?

can larger beans not be digested raw?

I sprout chick peas to make hummous and I have used them in crackers. I think that kidney beans should be avoided as thay can do you serious harm but I do now know of any others that you should avoid maybe someone else can add to the list

    sport-

it's so funny that you mentioned that, well it's funny now it wasn't back then...

I really found out the hard way that kidney bean sprouts belong on the SHOULD NOT eat raw list.

I was just trying out sprouting for the first few times. The lentils were great... so I thought I try to sprout one of my favorite beans... HUGE mistake!!!
I must say I did not sprout anything again for a while~

Thanks for the heads-up about kidney beans, I wasn't aware that they are unsuitable for raw consumption, as sprouts.
