Default Planning Raw Meals in Advance?

I've been eating raw food from moment to moment (playing it by ear and keeping it simple). So I have never really planned out my raw meals (to make) in advance for the next day or for the week or two. I hardly ever used my dehydrator and would like to start using it more.
My lifestyle is going to change again, so I need help in planning out my raw meals for the week or two and make it be portable for lunch and dinner for work. So how can I go about making everything I need to plan out my raw meals for the week or two.
I need some encouragements and some ideas to push myself past my comfort zone. And I want to really impress and make it feel easy to others that might be interested in raw food. So please help me be Superwoman in the kitchen to make raw meals for the week or two!!!! Thanks!!! :)

I have found most meals to be pretty easy. Even the "hard" ones.

For me the catch is two fold....

    1) do I need to dehydrate anything
    2) do I have those ingrediants.

The dehydrating can take a while, but I usually always have onion bread, nutloaf and tortilla chips on hand (since I use them the most).

Number 2 is a little harder. Since everything is raw, things go from ripe to bad quickly sometimes. Tough to make the zuchini pasta if your zuchini is bad.

I used to try and plan out a weeks worth of menus and shop for that, but I found myself standing in front of the fridge saying "oooh.. i want some of.... oh no... I need that for wednesday."

What seems to have solved that problem for me is increasing my shopping. Now I shop for only about 3 days at a time. That way if I eat those delicious almonds that I need, I can just push the dish back a few days. No biggie.

I know it sounds like a pain to go shopping every 3 days, but when you do that, you are in the store maybe 10 minutes at the most. You get the freshest produce and the flexibility to pivot.

    just my two sense. :)

Thank you Maintime! I'll keep your two cents/sense in mind! :) I like the idea of shopping every so and so days just to stay on top of freshness. Great idea!! *thumbs up*

Here's my project for now. I'm going to set aside time to go through all of my uncook books and raw recipes to make a list of all the names of the raw recipes under the title for each book of what I think will be portable raw dishes and maybe freeze well to have raw meals later on in the week. My list will be like a really long menu to choose from which will be fun for me and others! The list is gonna make me (again) and everyone else realize that we really do have a lot of raw food options! Cool!

I never really been much of a kitchen person. This will be a great positive learning experience!! :)

    SWEET!

Just remember, if you are running late one particular night... a salad is just as good :)

    Hey Whoa!

At times when I crave structure (which is more often than not), I follow Alissa's plan beginning on page 61.

I don't necessarily do Weeks 1 thru 4 in order - I just pick a week and go for it.

With her shopping lists, instructions, and advice, it could not be easier.
