This will be our third harvest (been here 2 years in April) and the grapes are enjoyed by rabbits, turkeys, and other critters.

The grapes taste delicious but the skins are too tough to really enjoy eating. I tried juicing some last year, but the yield is so low - I brought in 2 big handfuls of grapes and got about 2 Tbs of juice!

I am hoping to find someone who wants to make organic wine - we have all the equipment and I am happy to give the grapes away.

Yes - the birds here just love the grapes. Stu has talked about yanking the vines for a couple of years now. I'd like to keep them for the wild life and because I think they're so pretty. But, I'm not the one out there pruning them, which takes him a whole day every spring. They're on our back border the whole width of our yard.

He made wine with them in the past and enjoyed doing it - but didn't have good results..

Your juicing results reminded me of an old Saturday Night Live skit where the waitress made raisin juice - (snicker).

    Turkeys, eh? That's incredible! *Ü*
