7 day Juice feast about to start. Committed buddy needed
Hi from the UK.
Managed my first 3 and a half day juice feast this week. I only jacked it in as I had a bad hair day at work and wobbled as no one to turn to for support. I also am quite new to juicing so felt it was a lot of prep. I have 5 juices per day and got sick of the washing up. I now have a better idea of whats entailed and will take pre-pared fresh juice to work.....
I would really love a committed 7 day buddy. Someone who will stick to their chosen regime. Check in everyday. Be there to push me on if I wobble and I will do vice versa. I am happy to start tomorrow or sunday
Anyone in. Please...........you must be 100% committed.
Love n'stuff....Liz UK xxxx:)

I'm not worth a quarter when it comes to any of the above but good luck finding a feasting partner there are many fabulously committed folks here at RFT
It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.

Good Morning, Liz,
I'm in Sweden, that's timezone GMT+2. Just counted to 12 bananas that are heading for the freezer - the rest of my foodstuff is juiceable. Am really looking forward to this, and some parts of me are a little scared. Certainly we'll see this juicefeast through, all the way to translucency, and I'm ready to nudge & co-coach along the way as needed. Now off to garden & forage, talk to you later!

Hiya
Well. Here I am. Once juice on board. Went out to buy some stuff to get me going. Re time zone...good , we are not too far apart.
Yes, I need to do the week. I feel rough this am after a few days of naff eating so need to get that slimmer and cleansed feel again. I am doing the Jason Vale juice plan to keep me on track.
Am resting today. Hope you are doing great and happy foraging. Check in later. I need to tell myself its ok to feel a bit hungry.

evening check-in
A day of juicing watermelon + carrot/ginger/greens. Feeling quite a lot of resistance, but trying to shift to witnessing modality. Picked a large bag of goutweed - so grateful for the season of wild edibles. How is your day going, Liz? Hope you've had lots of tasty drinks. My no-wavering tip of the day is to close the eyes and imagine how wondrous we'll feel by Wednesday...!
-
Hiya
Hi....sounds like you are working thru the resistance and drinking some really healthy stuff.............yes, this first day is hard isnt it. I have had 3 big juices/cucumber/ginger/lime/avaocado/pineapple/carrot/beet and apple combos.
My struggle is giving up drinks......either coffee in tea or in decaf coffee. I just hate hot water or herbal teas. Do you think if I juice for weight loss but have skimmed milk...with decaf tea or coffee it will slow my weight loss down. Whats your hardest part.
Yes roll on day 3

Just a quick note before work - I'm dropping coffee too (for the zillionth time...) & am experiencing headaches, but remind myself that I only need to drink coffee when my foodchoices make me tired from digestion...personally I'd rather go cold turkey & come out after a day or two on the other side of coffee abstinence, but follow your heart. For me, coffee causes energetic imbalances (which also tend to lead to non-optimal choices in diet & other habits) and milk - to borrow a phrase from Gabriel Cousens - "clogs the nadis". If I need a boost, I'll have some guaranapowder, especially when transitioning from coffee - it gives me a much softer "high" than coffee. Have you tried stevia in your herbal teas? Some fresh mint...chamomile in the evening...or thyme...or all of it, perhaps on a base of pau d'arco. Or a really strong ginger tea, for digestive support. One fun thing about cleansing is that we'll become so much more aware of subtle signatures, that the coffee-vibe will seem a bit coarse eventually.
Oops, being verbiose this morning. Have to run now - wishing you a brilliant day & let's both remember that in 24 hours, coffee will not have the same pull anymore!

Hiya Happyapple
Hey,
Just a quick hello. I havent managed to not drink coffee today but have gone onto decaf so thats a start. You are full or wonderful drinks and bits I have never heard so I must google them. I am having a fat week and felt a bit groggy today so that's to be expected. I have a naff morning tomorrow when I deliver training and I hate it but after that, I will be able to focus more
How are you anyway. No doubt you are in bed now. I hope tuesday am sees you motivated with a clearer head.
Keep going, you sound like you are getting thru'.

Congratulations to the decaf, Liz, that's so great! Hope the training went well and that you are feeling lighter. For me, the coffee machine was very much on my mind yesterday, but today has been fairly craving-free. Really gratefull for your prompt to do this! Need more sleep, though. (You got me googling too - didn't know the word "naff" but now I do!
And on we go...to day FOUR!

Hiya Happyapple
I hope you are surviving day 3. I am muddled through and less desperate today. Naff = rubbish in the UK. Its a slang word.
My training went well thanks. Are you feeling a bit lighter, cleaner. I am glad you are working through your coffee cravings.
Let me know you are ok and managing.
