    Default Mylk Nuts

    Hi Folks,

It seems that the majority of nutmylk recipes use almonds. My girlfriend doesn't do well on almonds, and we have been mainly using hazelnuts (filberts) for our nutmylk. Is there a reason almonds are so widely suggested?

Is it okay to be using an alternative as we are? Should we be looking at other types of nuts?

    Thanks,

    Mark

You can use any kind of nuts...variety is best to cover many nutrients. Hazelnut mylk is delicious. Almond Mylk is very mild tasting to me.
