Default Vegetarian House in Downtown San Jose

I was just perusing the menu to see if they still had this raw noodle dish they used to serve--to my delight they now have THREE raw dishes on the menu!!

    Spicy Thai Wrap
shredded cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, with scallions, sprouts, cilantro and mint wrapped in collards with a spicy almond sauce

    Raw Fettuccine
Celery root noodles, collards, carrot, tomato, beet, cucumber, red bell pepper, pistachios with a creamy almond sauce

    and for dessert:

    Raw Apple Pie

I can't wait to check it out. The fettuccine is great, I've had that before. I really want to try the thai wrap!

I had the wrap last time I went, it was pretty good! The almond sauce was very tasty and gingery. It was more savory, I would have liked a little more sweetness, maybe a dipping sauce would be good with it. Anyway, it was $8.95 for two biggish collard rolls, and I could only finish one, so it was like two meals for one :) Then my friend and I both had the raw apple pie. It was very enjoyable! The crust was delightful and the pie was nice and simple

all three dishes are winners :)
