You really do look wonderful. :)
You can see a difference in your hair too, actually. You look altogether vibrant.

I'm nineteen, and have had mild but persistent acne since puberty. 100% raw is the only thing that has cured me. I don't know what you mean about the birth control though, the pill made my skin worse (I'm not on it any more though).

Questions about your transition
I have been very high raw for 3 months now. (The non-raw food that I eat is 100% vegan, and I try to make sure it is mostly vegatables, and not breads, etc...) I am hoping that the change in eating habits will improve my skin and greatly decrease my pain in menstrual cramps. Initially, I thought that my skin was improving - I was able to go from covering my face every night with benzoil peroxide to only having to do that once every 1 or 2 weeks. But, this past week, my face exploded with acne, worse than it ever was while I was eating SAD. Needless to say, I find this extremely discouraging. Not to mention, previously my acne never scabbed over before, and now it is scabbing over, leaving me scared that I will now have scarring, which I never had before.
So, how long did it take to get about a 70% improvement in your skin? How long for it to become completely clear? I am willing to be patient, but it seems that something may really be wrong if my skin got much worse, as it did.
I am not eating many cucumbers, but I am eating a TON of leafy green vegetables, along with many fruits and minimizing my nut/seed intake.

I highly recommend cucumber juice...also try washing your face with raw honey.

my 12 yr old daughter has acne, right now she's using prescription meds to help with the outbreaks.
I am reading up on the benefits of juicing and raw foods. have tried a few dishes and we like them very much as we rarely ever eat meat of any form. dd was a no meat baby and only in recent yrs has she discovered hamburgers.
I followed the link and couldn't find your story, I want my dd to read your story. btw, You are gorgeous and look so very happy.
thanks

Hello,
Are you still taking birth control pills?
And congratulations, you really do look great! Two days ago, my husband and I started raw and I hope I will have promising results like yours. I don't have acne but I have these huge pores and once in a while I get white/black heads here and there.
Thank you for these photos. It's really inspiring to see before-and-after photos such as these.

Wow your skin looks amazing!
I've just joined this website and was looking for some inspiration!
I started eating raw 3 weeks ago and my skin is at it's worst ever right now!
At first i thought it could be detoxing, but now I'm not sure if i'm eating far too much fruit! Any info would be great :)

Quite the transformation!
And I must say, you look quite stunning.

That is amazing. I have suffered from hormonal cystic acne for years and years. I am hoping that eating raw will help with my acne as well. I'm not expecting a miracle but some improvements would be lovely.
Thanks for posting this.

Sometimes I'm not in the mood for them, but I always try to eat lots of garlic and onions because they are inflammatory.

Greens, Greens what a wonderful food--the more you eat, the better your mood

WOW, you look gorgeous! Your skin is just ... so lovely.
Irrelevant but you remind me a lot of Tina Fey (not just the glasses)!

Amazing! You look great. I find if I eat any sugar at all I can expect break outs to come back. Thank you for showing us it is possible.

I think cucumbers were great at helping clear the skin... greens, greens, greens. A lot of it was likely from removing unhealthy food not just adding healthy food. ;) Oh and taking care of myself... not being too hard on myself, sleeping enough, not letting myself get too stressed.
Hope that helps!
And thanks for the kind words. :)
You really take charge of your life. You must be so proud of you. This is one of the most uncredible change i have seen.
Did you juice with cucumber? Or you just eat it this way in salad.
I have always felt that our emotions are crucial to recover, i am so proud of you for taking care of this too. What a clever girl you are.
Congratulations!
Blessings and love
