When I freeze things, I simply thaw them and eat at room temperature. If it's something I want warm - then I gently heat it either in the dehydrator, but most times briefly on the stove top. Easy-Peasy! *Ü*

I would say that all of what I freezes end up in either a smoothie or as ice cream. I rarely have to defrost anything.

I freeze stuff for use later, or if I have a recipe I have too much of. I usually make crackers with pates and dips and sauces since I find they don't taste as good once they are thawed. If it is a dessert, then I just defrost on the countertop or in the fridge. You can also warm things in the dehydrator!!

Also it is good you are not jumping in blindly! If you have not been raw before it can be difficult to get used to and stick with at first. I came to where I am now gradually, and the benefits I saw to my health and energy were more than enough to keep me motivated and searching for more. I don't know if I would have been as successful if I had just changed my diet radically overnight. That said - lots of people have done just that and had it work for them!!

It's just that you said you don't want to fail - and there is no "fail" with raw food - just incorporate as much as you can! The more the better. And the more you incorporate, the better you will feel and the more you will want every day

Good point about "Failure". The important thing is to get as much raw in as you can. I think people sometimes approach getting into raw with an all or nothing attitude. Be comfortable with your progress and stay on your path.
