I put my Green Star on ebay and am quite sure I'll get about as much if not more than the price of a Hurom juicer which I want to switch to.

I know they recommend the Omega VRT for warranty reliability but the Hurom is significantly cheaper and I like the handle. I also don't like that Omega knowingly sold a juicer that ground it's own highly toxic melamine auger into the juice/pulp (Omega 8000 series) for years before fixing the problem so I'd rather not support a company with no ethics like that. The Hurom is also like $30 cheaper.

I heard the parts are interchangeable between the Hurom and Omega VRT but they do look different, are they really all interchangeable so I can buy parts in case Hurom goes out of business?
