Default How much lavender oil should I add to my soap?

I use a 4 oz. bottle of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap and I want to add some drops of lavender oil to it to combat my psoriasis. How many drops should I add for it to be effective?

    Hello,
I am not sure of the lavender amount BUT I did want to mention this book
    Healing Psoriasis: The Natural Alternative
    John Pagano

I am reading his book on Leaky Gut Syndrome and he talks a lot about psoriasis.
Seems LGS can be the root cause of Sooooo Many illnesses.
I know being Raw is an excellent way to the road to good health. He offers many supplement suggestions to streghten the gut area and advice on finding the main offending culprit.

My husband has psoriasis and I have a lotion that is in a 4oz jar and it contains 20-25 drops of lavendar oil. While this does not lessen (or cure) the psoriasis, he likes it and it keeps the patches moisturized. So that would be my recommendation, 20-25 drops per the 4oz of soap - I'm no expert though! *Ü*

Thank you Terry for sharing this information. I went to our library's website and sure enough, they have it and I was able to request it. *Ü*

Thanks for that. I'll try 10 drops and see how it works. Otherwise this could get expensive!

Seriously, have him try bathing/showering without soap. Try it yourself, too. Within a couple weeks your skin will stop overproducing oil. Put the lavender oil in a mister and spray over the affected areas. Being an autoimmune problem you will also greatly benefit from Iodine therapy, which could be a problem if you live in the US.
I chose the road less traveled and it has made all the difference...
Those who say it cannot be done shouldn’t interrupt the person doing it.

Have you considered putting the lavender oil on the affected area neat? Try it. If it burns (it shouldn't unless there are additives) add a drop of olive oil to it.

Please be sure you have a top quality oil that's not cut with anything.
