Feb 11th - Day 11
Oh ya... day eleven everyone!!!
-
b= pineapple and strawberries
l = avocado salad
d = whatever fresh fruit i can scrounge up at the market!
(need to plan a little better)
-
Oranges, fermented veggies, salad.
Still raw but man I could use some junk food.
Burrito or ice cream and pretzels. Maybe I will make some raw
ice cream or fruit smoothie to kill the cravings.

Great day today!
1.5 hour walk/run with my shepard, and an hour to and from my farmer's market on my bike.
B: 10 nanners
L: 11 more nanners
D: 2 heads romaine and 3 large tomatoes.
A lot less than usual, but my body is working on some extreme digestion right now haha So I'll leave it at this amount for today.

B - 1/2 cup green smoothie left over, coffee (not raw but organic) with homemade almond milk (yum!!)
L - hummus, grape tomatoes, celery, 1 small pita (mini one), small apple
S - grapes, banana
D - 1/4 cawliflower & green beans (steamed so not raw?), 3 pieces fat free cheese (not raw), small apple
S - almond butter, almonds, raisins, 1 tablespoon honey
Whoooa, a lot today but frankly I was craving it and better to eat raw than junk food right haha.

Another Day
Things are going good this time around. Last time I tried to make it off of veggies and fruit and was not very sucessful. This time I am making raw breads, chips, mexican pizza, raw blueberry pie etc and I have not had a single craving other than coffee the first day. My family has even switched over to making their sandwiches on the raw bread. Everything really seems to be falling into place this time and has been very easy to juggle work, raw, cooking for family, etc. I have a mdeical convention at the end of my 30 days and I am really hoping to look healthier since I sell health for a living. It's very embarrassing having all of the knowledge I have and going to a seminar (100 lbs overweight) and work with the NDs, DCs, and nutritionists. It's as bad as my sister the nurse smoking a cigarrette before she delivers someones baby. I know I will be much more sucessful in life but also my career when I practice what I preach! Very excited for the rest of the month.
Today:
Banana fruit leather wrap with fresh fruit and cinamon inside
Raw angel hair pasta
2 clementines
slice of blueberry pie
Start Date of Raw Challenge 2-8-10
HW 2504lb :mad:
SW 238lb :eek:
CW 230LB :o (8LBS IN THE FIRST WEEK!)
GW 140lb :) (100lbs seems like a huge mountain, I have to focus on 10lb increments or I get very discourage!)

Raw bliss
Loving my raw month ... but it is hard to keep up with a daily post of what I ate. Monday - Friday I always typically enjoy a big green smoothie for breakfast, then have a salad with my dressing and seeds (hemp seeds, sunflower or walnuts) and then for dinner I juice or have something sweet like raw ice cream, chocolate or my famous raw brownies!
Today I made some more eggplant jerky and I also dehydrated some super yummy pesto kale chips!!
The weekend is here which means it s time to juice as I normally have an array of fresh juice all weekend ... beets and strawberries are my favorite!!
