Feb 2nd - Day 2
It's Tuesday and Day 2 of the 30 day challenge... welcome!
-
Good morning!
For breakfast I'm going to have many delicious little clementines and a banana...for lunch, a big salad and some "cheddar cheese" spread on celery....dinner, not sure, but the day is young and I'll figure it out.
Have a great raw day everyone. :)
I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a raw nut burger today.

This is day 30 for me eating (almost) 100% raw. I've had a couple of meals were I just didn't have an option or chose to eat cooked (and my body didn't like it, either) but it's pretty cool to have made it an entire month eating 99.9% raw! I'm formulating my own 30 day challenge now with recipes from Alissa's book and hoping to stick to 100% this time!
Here is what I've had so far today:
1 smoothie (no greenies, unfortunately, as I was out of spinach) with banana, strawberries, 1 tbs. almond butter, honey, cacao powder, a slice of blueberry bread, and I've got some frozen chili from a few months ago defrosting on my desk for lunch. Hooray for another raw day.
-
fruit salad (1 strawberry - haha! had to save them for my 3 year old who loves them so much, 1 banana, 1 kiwi, grapes, hemp seed)
rest of day unknown.

So far today, I've had a banana and a raw cookie. I'm about to head to the kitchen to make a huge green smoothie.
Lunch will probably be a grapefruit and some pears.
For dinner, we're having pesto stuffed mushrooms and a big salad. YUM!
And of course I'll be snacking here and there, because I'm making some frozen snickers today.
Taking it one day at a time. :D

Hello everyone! Today starts with a green smoothie (spinach, strawberries, mango, coconut oil and chia seeds, and blueberries). Lunch will be a salad (spinach with 2 kinds of sprouts, red and green peppers, pepitas, a little oil and salt and pepper). I've got crackers and a raw sunflower seed pate, as well as leftover smoothie, for the rest of the afternoon. Sounds good, yum!

B: guacamole and nut milk (an interesting mix, but it what was in the fridge at 5:30am, so I went for it!)
L: apple and orange
D: 2 cups of carrot juice and whatever else I can round up
S: frozen banana with cacao
It's time to go grocery shopping, that's it for sure! I only have oranges, apples, lemons, celery, zucchini, and some various nuts left to work with!

So far today I've had a banana. I'll be making a green smoothie in the next hour or so. Not sure what I'll have the rest of the day. After yesterday, I've realized that I need more fat than I ate. I think I'm going to start adding some coconut oil to my smoothies. Hopefully today will be easier than yesterday. :) Have a good raw day everyone.

Green Smoothie Day!!
Yesterday was wonderful ... the green smoothies gave me sooo much energy and curbed any cravings I might have had for cooked processed food!!!
What I ate on day 1:
B: Green Smoothie (banana, apple, ground up flax seed, spinach, ice, water)
L: Another Green Smoothie (banana, apple, ground up flax seed, spinach, ice, water)
Snack: Dehydrated apple chips and a few grapes
D: Juiced beets, beet greens (the beet tops) and strawberries
I actually made such a big batch of my green smoothie that I ended up eating it morning and afternoon and was totally satisfied all day! Thanks Victoria Boutenko ... she wrote the book "Green For Life" and explains the benefits of green smoothies and has an array of green drinks recipes ... they taste sooo delicious too!!
