I'm on the raw bandwagon this month, on my way home today I stopped at The Health Store and bought dates and shiz.

I'm having a debate over whether the "Carob covered raisins" I'm currently eating are actually raw but I think they must be otherwise what would be the point of them?! Even though they have some preservative shit added in, so the back of the packet tells me. Which I conveniently didn't notice when I bought them and opened them.

    So far today I've ate:
1 pint of smoothie consisting of water, 2 nectarines, 1 kiwi and 1 orange.
A salad of iceberg lettuce, 1 carrot, 1/3 an avocado, 10 grapes, lemon juice, and olive oil.
    Carob coated raisins.

I'm planning on making raw ice cream later on to try it and I'll also have another big salad for dinner

I've attempted the 30 day challenge numerous times, and fail miserably. But, I'm back at it again! The difference this time is....I have Alissa's book! It's amazing. I'm so glad I finally bought it.

For breakfast, I wasn't too hungry. So, all I had was an apple and an orange.

Right now I'm working on lunch. A big salad (lettuce, cabbage, spinach, cukes, tomatoes, and celery) with a piece of onion bread.

And for dinner I'm making Alissa's enchiladas! I plan on fitting a green smoothie in sometime between lunch and dinner.
Taking it one day at a time. :D

I'm in too! DH is an accountant so tax season (from now to April 15th) is a great time to hibernate from social engagements and focus on lifestyle change.

I'm doing green smoothies today to clear out a little from junkie diet of past week.

a.m. smoothie was banana, oranges & spinich
    mid a.m. smoothie was apple/grape/spinich
lunch smoothie will be another apple/grape/spinich
snack in p.m. will be grape tomatoes
Dinner will probably be a big salad.

    Default At last!

:) I'm back to participate in the 30 day challenge and I'm so happy....:) After 2.5 years of off-and-on with this, I am so ready to be accountable and ALL RAW. I remember my one experience of that amount of raw time as the best I've ever felt. I know what I want.

With much gratitude for being here on this thread,

I'm in. I figured I'd make my first post would be my first day raw. So far, so good. For breakfast I had a smoothie of pineapple, mango, strawberry, banana and spinach. I had some grapes for a snack. For lunch I had cucumbers and tomatoes. It's been a good day. I'm not sure what I'm going to eat for dinner.

I've tried to eat raw in the past would only manage about a day at most. :) This time I did a lot more research and planning, so I hope to be way more successful. I have found so many great recipes to try out.

I started my raw adventure on January 15th - I'm really excited to participate fully in this month's challenge.

B: a couple of dates, piece of raw cacao treat from local cooperative market (delicious!)
    L: orange
D: chopped mushrooms with salsa with lots of fresh ground black pepper
S: frozen bananas and brazil nut milk

I had some skin break outs at the beginning of last week that are finally clearing up - so happy :)

    Default Another month - yes

I am in for another month after successfully completing the January raw challenge.
I am so grateful for the experience, I have been attempting to live the 100% raw life style for so long.

    So far today I had
    2 bananas
    2 cups of pineapple

I am planning on some carrot cucumber beet and some green juice with some flax seed crackers.

My goal for this month is to clean my diet up somewhat and stay away from ice creams raw fudge and other sweets that are not fruits in a natural state.

    Good luck everyone

    Default a fresh start...

    Hi!
This is my first time trying to commit to a 100% raw lifestyle. I have always been interested in it but I often end up falling back into my old ways. I think with the support of an online community like this, though, I will be able to stick with it and achieve the healthy life that I really want and need.

I guess the 1st of the month is a great time to start. I have decided to do a water fast today just to flush everything from my system and will start eating whole, fresh foods first thing tomorrow!

Hey y'all! It's been awhile, but I'm back for another 30 day challenge! I did 30 days in October, and I've never felt better. I've struggled and tried to balance, and honestly done pretty well, but now I'm back to commit :) I'm also coupling this with a 30 yoga challenge that I started on Saturday. Here goes!

Breakfast: raw smoothie - spinach, coconut oil, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas and blueberries

lunch: salad - spinach, two kinds of sprouts, red and green bell pepper, a bit of grapeseed oil and salt and pepper. also munched some flax crackers.

afternoon: leftover smoothie from this morning :)

And that will probably be it for the day! Just lots of water in preparation for yoga tonight.
