I'm doing Alissa's 30 day plan--today was pad thai, and I have to admit I was really really craving the real thing. Luckily I'm snowed in. =-) I think I've been going really heavy on the nuts since starting raw, but Im okay with that, because I don't want to feel deprived! I think my body will eventually say, "Okay, enough nuts, let's eat more salad now!".

    Food today:
Alissa's date nut torte for breakfast (not all, just a slice!)
    one satsuma (my new obsession)
a few flax crackers with Alissa's pad thai leftovers...not my fave. =-( I've been a little disappointed thus far with her recipes.

Oh, but on a happy note, my skin continues to look more clear even just four days in. Yay. Hopefully detox won't be too bad since I was eating 70-80% raw before going all out.

Better day today, though I had to fight off the worst temptation so far whilst shopping for fruit tonight on the way home. Picked up some courgettes, turned round and was faced with a display of samosas, satays, pakora and sausage rolls....was so terribly tempted, but managed to resist.

    Food today:
    Orange smoothie
Some macademia and some raisins thoughout the day at work
Big salad (romaine, corn, cucumber, celery, tomato), dehydrated marinaded mushrooms, dehydrated carrot strips
Probably have a couple of pieces of raw choc later

Feeling better certainly, but still very little appetite...which is most unusual for me :)

This happend to me too on Day 5. I had to force myself to eat. I just didn't feel like eating food. But eventually my body let me know that it wanted something so I ate a half a cantulope.

CONGRATS on resisting temptation. It is a daily struggle for me when there are so many great vegan and vegetarian resturants in town.

    Default Day 7

This has been a good day. I love living in Arizona at this time of the year. Blue skies, warm days, cool mornings and nights. It is, however, brutal in the summer.

    Today I had
    2 bananas
    2 navel oranges
    some rosemary, garlic flax crackers
    1 chocolate spirulina maca ball
1 small scoop of cherry chocolate agave gelato

I finally made 1 quart of carrot cucumber beet juice.

I am experiencing some detox symptoms and I hope that a salt water bath will help remove some toxins. I am also thinking about getting some colonics to to speed up the cleansing.
Good luck to everyone for day 8
