Default Will the Omega 8006 auger fit in the 8003/8005 models?

I bought an Omega 8005 over a month ago - love it! However, I just found a chip in my auger. I am working with them to get a replacement - but would assume I would have the same problem. Does the new black auger found in the 8006 model fit in the older models?
I don't mind paying the $20 difference if the quality is better.

BTW - my whole family is enjoying the juicer, my kids get involved and we juice every day. The machine is easy to assemble/clean/use. Aside from the auger issue - highly recommended.

    thanks

Really? Because I asked and they said no. That would be very cool if it did. If so, I will add it to my website.

Odd - I spoke to their customer support today...said "I had the older beige auger, as they will do a warrrantee exchange, can I upgrade to the newer auger?"
They said yes, it can be done.
Just sent my chipped one out - should have the replacement next week. Will post results.

    zippo!
I offered to pay any upcharge...I just don't want the same problem over and over. He said they will take care of it, no charge.

    Default It fits!

    Dimond -
I got the new (black) auger delivered yesterday and it fits my 8005 fine.

    Made juice this morning...no problems.

I may be wrong, but it seemed like the newer black auger had an easier time juicing than the beige auger...same fruits and veggies that I normally use.
