Default how much do you need....

... I've been thinking of doing a juice fast in a week or two. One question though... How much fruit and veggies do you need in order to produce an adequate ammount of juice? I know that this will vary depending on the type of juicer you have... but aproximatly? Would be great to know so I can put some money aside in case it will be more expensive than now.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Tanja,

I juiced about 7 apples and two pears today with my champion juicer, and it produced more than 1 liter of juice!! The apples were quite big, but I'm still amazed at how much juice you'll get!
Keep in mind though that you might drink 2 liters or more juice per day, so for me, that's more fruit than I can usually eat in one day! So I'm spending more money on fruits and veggies when I juice than when I'm just eating the fruit/veggies by itself...

    Hope this info was helpfull...

    Ciao, Joke

I just thought of something extra:
when I juice, I tend to buy simple fruits, that is apples, pears and things like that, whereas I just eat the fruit, I might buy some more expensive fruits like pineapple, coconut and things like that.
I'm also decided to not buy everything organic, otherwise it would just cost me way too much, so you might just be fine with the budget you spend now, but you'll have to see for yourself a little bit, if you want to juice special fruit as well, it's gonna cost you extra I'm afraid...
