    Hey Melissa,

    4 lbs... that's 4 pounds, right? That's great!
Are you only doing the OJ like RawJoJo or do you include other juices as well?

The weather here is not that great either, it's been cloudy all day, and it's not even 6pm yet and it's already dark!! And cold, phew!

    Jay,

You are doing great. I have found I lost more weight after day 10 (I don't think you are going that long). When I did the 30 day juice fast, I was 207 pounds at the start and 191 pounds at the end. Most of that weight came off between the 2nd and 3rd week. Unless you are more than 20 pounds overweight, juice fasting takes alittle longer then water fasting because your body is still getting nutrient-rich juice. But you are becoming your own success story! Keep it up!!

    Hey everyone,

Todd, thanks for your post! I am actually still more than 20 pounds overweight, and I thought it would come off easier with juicefasting, because my weightloss was slowing down and it kind of plateaud so i was hoping the juicing might give the weightloss a boost, but so far it's kinda slow, compared to the others here... I don't know how much longer I'll keep juicefasting... maybe I should pull through and keep doing it for two weeks? I don't know if I'll be able to do that...

    Jay,
Are you getting any type of exercise? That might help kick start it a little!

    Hi all,
I am at day 6 of juice fast, I have lost about 5 pounds, but I haven't lost any weight in the last two days.
This evening I noticed a couple of spots in my face. Maybe I am starting detox! Anyway today it is been VERY hard, I have been so hungry, and having many may cravings for really bad stuff (pizza, pasta, bread, cakes), and I wonder if I am detoxing from this foods.
I juice mostly oranges, but yesterday I made an awesome drink of pears, oranges and pomegranate, yummm!
You are all so inspirational, and Todd, it is so helpful to read you!!

    Good point Rawjojo,

I guess I assumed Jay was exercising regularly. Jay are you doing regular exercise? I was during my fast. At least a good hour of straight walking. I hear different things with regard to the juice fast as far as weight loss. I believe the closer you can get to 30 (or even 40) days the better. At least 14 days though. 7 days is just getting the body warmed up to the idea. But exercise daily is important to your success luv!

    Peace.

So far just oranges for me...but I am wanting to do more. I have ALOT of weight to lose, and I think to start its water fluid leaving your system, so the more you need to lose the quicker it starts to begin with....who am I to know these things yet though....(I am preparing to start a distance learning program in holistic health and healing, have not decided which one though)....I want to walk the walk and talk the talk so that I can help myself and then others. I have been so intrigued for so long that I am now taking the plunge...anyway. yes Joke, 4 pounds in 4 days, woohoo!!! too many more to count though

    Hi,

well I went for a 40 minutes walk, but I was walking pretty fast, I even ran a few times!
I took my iPod with me (mp3 music player) and it was a lot of fun. It was really really cold outside (it might even freeze here tonight!) but when I came back I felt all warm and tired but satisfied

    see you guys tomorrow!
    g'night!

    Way to go JOKE!
It's really cold here also, so I guess I cannot use that as an excuse anymore ... hmmm?

    Hee hee , thanks VWB!

Yeah, it was so cold, I think it even froze last night, brrrr..
But like you said, it's not a real excuse now is it? ;) Besides, you'll feel so warm and have a clear mind after you came back! At least I had!
I'm gonna go again tonight! Yay!

Well this is day 7 for me, can you believe it?! I made it until 1 week already!!
I didn't sleep very well last night though, I took some cassia (makes it easier to go #2) and my tummy was working and rumbling for a few hours when I went to sleep, not very nice and a bit uncomfortable...
But it worked, that's good of course, but I drank a lot of OJ already, and my tummy is still sensitive and bloated, why? Does anybody have an explanation for this? Tx!

    Hey Sara/Fragola,

I've had those kind of moments too, like you are almost dying to eat bad stuff, bread and cheese, chips, french fries (which are actually a belgian speciality so they should be called flemish fries ), pizza, did I mention bread and cheese?, pasta, bread and cheese, chips, pizza, uhmm, cheese,

but I got through that difficult period and although sometimes I'm thinking tomorrow I'll stop with the juicefast, I keep going!
Also because Todd said that 14 days is better, so I'm gonna TRY to do 14 days, but at least 10! Thanks Todd for motivating us, and pointing out the needed daily exercise, hehe

    Hi-de-ho J :)
    You are doing incredible!
Todd's insight is so profound , hemmm? He so rocks!!!
I'm sure that once you make it to day 10, getting to day 14 will be a piece of cake ... or in your situation ... uhmm dare I say "bread & cheese :P"
Keep on, keeping on my friend!
