Default I"m pregnant!! ANd starting 30day challenge...

Well I start the 30 day challenge on Thursday and just found out today that I"m pregnant!!!!!! It may be a little more of a challenge mentally just knowing that I"m pregnant. But I don't want to make the excuse that since I"M pregnant I can eat junk....
With my last pregnancy I felt no morning sickness at all, so I"m hoping the same holds true this time... As long as I stay raw...Didn't last time but I have grown with my raw adventure,,, it has been 3 years.

    Congratulations!

Check out The Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose. She has a chapter on pregnancy and on nursing. She doesn't encourage all raw because of the detox but she does give a raw plan for the pregnancy.

    Thanks everybody,,,

I have been raw for the last 2 months except the last week...So I dont think that detox will be too much of an issue.. Am I wrong?

    Default ...Congratulations!

...I was just thinking how wonderful Jingee looks on their site during her pregnancy. You may want to check out her literature on the topic (though I confess I have not read any of it yet- -just going by appearance). www.thegardendiet.com

And welcome to Motherhood! It can be tiresome, but VERY rewarding! :)

    Congratulations Jamie!!!!

It will be interesting to see how this pregancy and deliver is different from you others since you are all raw.

I printed out Jinjee's e-book on her story of her pregnancies and read it a few times. I'm 51 and do not plan on being pregnant!!!!! But I still loved to read her story and wished I ate raw when I had my children!!!! Her e-book will really inspire you.

Since you have been raw for 2 months, it's not going to hurt the baby at all (detox). Even if you have another bout of detox (which you probably will as your body is always going to be detoxing as it continues to get all the bad stuff out of you) it's going to be healthier for your baby than putting cooked food in, which you body will have to be detoxed later. IMHO.

Congratulations, Jamie! I have 4 children and wish I knew about the raw lifestyle when I was pregnant. (I was vegan or vegetarian with each one, though). Jinjee and Storm have a lovely site called The Garden Diet and on it you will see pictures of their four beautiful children, all from raw pregnancies! I hope you will gain inspiration from their site, this forum, and the challenge of going raw. It's a perfect time to get serious about being healthy is when you are carrying a young one, and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers!

    Looking forward to updates.
