    Default a geez, what happened?

So two days ago late that day I started to feel really sick. I had been eating quite light that day, fruits in the morning, sprouted quinoa and sallad for lunch.

When I got home from school I was really really hungry, but I couldn't eat much because I did not have any appetite. I craved for something cooked, so I tried to eat some cooked kidney beans wrapped in white cabbage and a salad.

But I just started to feel worse, and then finally my stomach went all bonkers. I vomited and stuff. It got better after a few hours, and then I drank water and ate half a banana and went to bed.

The next day I had some shrimps and cooked rice, I felt really good. But I wonder if it was a stupid idea to eat those, oh well. Then yesterday I ate popcorn when visiting my friend. Now I feel like I have eaten too much salt.

But anyway, what I wanted to ask is this:
Can detox really be that severe I don't know what I would have been detoxed from, because I have had quite a healthy diet before I went raw.
Or was it low blood sugar? Don't know about that because I got sicker even after I got something to eat.
Or was it food poisoning? I'm not sure about that either because I had not eaten any old foods, and also food poisoning lasts longer than just a few hours.

Would be glad to get some thoughts about this, it was quite a scare. I hope I will be able to continue on with raw food without getting sick.

    were the kidney beans canned??
that was probably the problem, seeing as how you ate those and then threw up afterward.
or it could be that your WERE detoxing, then ate when you had no appetite (a no-no) and your stomach got upset because you fed it some cooked food.

    Hmm, yes they were canned.
So you say I should have been more careful and not eat anything when I started to feel ill, maybe so. Maybe some fruit juice would have been a better option and more liquids.

Well, at least going raw food would not be a reason for feeling sick. That would be very discouraging.

Maybe you just had a tummy virus that was short lived.

Detox CAN be really severe. When I gave up white sugar, a year and a half ago, I went cold turkey. No noodles, white rice, white sugar or bread.

What a diaster. I got the shakes (I am not diabetic), chills, the sweats, and a pounding headache for an entire weekend. It was akin to what an alcoholic goes through in detox I swear.

Dont kid yourself. Chemicals and sugar, or things that your body is addicted to are really hard to give up.
