    Default Orange Juice Fast

    Hi everyone!
I wanted to know if any of you have every experimanted with the 2 week orange juice fast. I am definitely going to start a juice fast on Monday and I was considering just doing O.J. Has anyone had great sucess with this or is is not a good idea? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Also, if anyone has any great places to purchase organic oranges from I would apprectiate that information too!

    Hiya Rawjojo,

I have done the 14 day orange juice diet that the Taliferos speak of on their site ( www.thegardendiet.com) its a great way to jumpstart the raw lifestyle. Thats what I used it for. The orange juice gives you everything your body needs and its a great way to cleanse. Its not real intense either so its easier than a water fast. I would recommend anyone who is serious about raw to start out that way.

    Peace.

    Todd

    Awesome Todd,

That is just what I was hoping to hear! I just needed a little reassurance. I am anxious to start. I am hoping that this will jump start me too! Thanks again.

when doing the orange juice fast do you have to strain the pulp? also do you have to do the colon cleanse stuff as well?

No, ou don't have to do the colon cleanse stuff. IT wouldn't hurt though. Frankly, I did get sick of O.J. by the end of the fast! I am doing an all juice fast now so that I can have a litttle more variety! I just ran the oranges through my juicer and while at work I just pressed them on a manual citrus juicer!
