    Default Resorts

Has anyone gone to any type of detox/fasting or any health resort? Where was it? did you like it? I was just checking it out and the ones outside of the US are about the same price its just more expensive because you will have to buy a plane ticket.

I live in Canada and went to a little one in Quebec. But, i have heard a lot of great things about the Hippocrates Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. ( http://www.hippocratesinst.org/ ) The naturopath that treated me did all her studies in the USA and took classes with Ann Wigmore, who is the founder of the Institute and a popular wholistic health educator. If you want a preview of what the hippocrates diet is (obviously it's a raw food diet), then i recommend you read the book, " The Hippocrates Diet and Health Program" by Ann Wigmore.

    Hope this helps!

The institute in Florida is not part of the Anne Wigmore Foundation. I think that maybe it was in the past but as a result of a dispute there is no longer any association between them.
