Default Just a reminder…when posts are deleted

If a post gets deleted, it is deleted for a reason. If it’s your post and you want to email and ask the moderators why it was deleted, we have no problem with that. But please do not come on and ask “why was my post deleted, I see no reason it should have been deleted and here it is again...” and then you post the same thread again.

So here is when the problem begins and people get banned.

In the scheme of things, there is maybe one in a couple of thousand that gets deleted. Don’t take it personally, it’s a thread, move on and just assume that it wasn’t right for this board, or again, feel free to email the mods and ask, but please don’t think that we will use the board to explain in detail about the actual thread we were trying to avoid.

If you think this board would be nicer without the mods and without some rules, then your seriously mistaken. We have been reading a few other boards lately that have just sprung up and they are all cheerily announcing that they will have no “rules”. YA, well, at 40 members, that’s great! When you have thousands of members, there has to be some rules!

We know you have all been to some of the other boards that are talking about every subject under the sun, some of them are vicious with the people who post there, some rip apart raw food teachers, authors and speakers, some talk about all of the different ways of eating a raw food diet including not doing an all raw food diet but eating cooked food as well and on and on. Well, that’s not us. If you’re new here, read the mission statement. It’s pretty cut and dry.

AND, even after having said all that, we are not even that strict with the ‘rules’ here until someone really goes overboard with them! We really even try to let some of the threads that get under out skin slide, but then if it continues to take the wrong turn we delete it and usually contact the person.

The moderators are not trying to be control freaks here. They are VERY HARD working people who put a lot of time and energy into making this board run smoothly so everyone can feel comfortable here.

We are not always perfect when we make decisions but we do so to the best of our ability.

We are not going to let a few people who don’t get what this board is about, spoil it for everyone else and make this place into an unpleasant environment. I would rather lose a few people along the way then let this place take on the energy of some of the other boards I’ve seen.

So, while it’s ok to ask people how to stay raw, or reach out for help while being raw, or to ask for tips and techniques because you’re struggling, or to even say, omg! I just ate a big pizza, help me go back to raw! etc..… it’s not ok to ask what kind of food you should eat if you decide you don’t want to be raw… see the difference????

This board is for the support of the raw food diet as presented in my book Living on Live Food.

Now, I know there are other concepts being discussed here and again, I’m not going to freak out over it, but I am committed to making this a safe, supportive, inspiring place for people who WANT TO BE RAW. If you don’t want to be raw, this is not the place for you, pretty simple, ah?

Oh and we will delete threads immediately that are selling or advertising your site and products. This is not the place for that.

On that note… it would be nice to see a little more positive post then the ones of late. I’m not sure what's going on but the doom and gloom is pretty intense.

Remember what you focus on grows, what you starve dies. By all means reach out for the help you need, but remember… you create your destiny!

It’s so much more fun to play in the abundance of success then the energy of failure.

    Default ***Sigh***

Okay, now it's MY turn to bump this up (yet again) after a very recent incident. I REALLY want people to know and realize that, when stuff gets removed or even closed up, it's to keep a certain flow here and it's not personal...can I reiterate that? IT'S - NOT - PERSONAL, so please try not to take it personal-ly. Alissa does have rules and expectations for the forum and in order to keep things in line with Alissa's rules and desires for this forum, sometimes things have to be purged. We're not out to gettcha or anything like that.

bumping again. if a post is deleted do not repost it again or start threads about why it was removed. just assume it was not appropriate for this board
