    Default So Proud of me!

I'm so excited, I just had to share with someone. Today I took my bike out on the real streets, off my little flat side streets. I did five miles with more than half of it up long, somewhat steep hills. Never had to get off and walk.

Of course I probably won't be able t walk tomorrow. But I am just so excited. I never would have considered even getting on a bike last May, never mind achieving what I did today. For you who are in good shape it may not sound like a lot, but it was huge for me.

No need to respond, I justed want to jump up and down and scream, Yippie, Yippie. This new lifestyle is truely amazing!!!

    Default Way to go!!!

    Congratulations, Carlene!

It sounds like you are on your way! I know how hard it can be to take the plunge and try something that you know will be difficult, even if it is worthwhile. But here's the best part: the more effort you put in today, the easier it will be the next time. Great job getting out there on those hills!

    Cool,

we live too rural to ride bikes, no sidewalks and most streets are 55 with ditches next to them, and tons of gravel, and big trucks, alas, I used to love riding bikes years ago.

Good for you. sounds like you are doing fantastic!!!
