OH OH OOOOH for a camera!!! *stamps foot*

I want to share MY raw food creations with you all, too!!!

    What I made last night/today:
    • Italian crackers (soaked flax seed, tomatos, kalamata olives, green onion, spinach, Bragg's, sea salt, rosemary)
    • Mango-Banana Pie (Yuuummmy!!!)
    • Eggplant Bacon (It's crisping in the dehydrator overnight...)
    • Baked Macaroni and Cheeze (a la Eva! This was FANTASTIC! Roommate loved it, too!)

I can't wait until Mr. Green can find me a refurbished camera! I can't WAIT to start sharing pictures, too. I find photos of food and people enjoying it to be really fun and inspiring.

In general, I have a huge Green Smoothie and Guacamole/Salsa/Crackers every day... I also drink raw Kombucha tea regularly, too.

That's pretty much it on my daily diet right now. I had more water today... about 6 large glasses total! How is everyone else doing/feeling?

I'm headed to bed with a headache... yet I still feel GOOD.

    I LOVE RAW!!!!

Hi, Everybody! Renee, what amazing photos. How on earth did you do all that meal prep in only 35 minutes???? Green Woman is the Baked Macaroni and Cheese recipe the one that has surfaced lately?

Well, I decided there's no way I can follow this thread with Alissa's book back at my other home, so I ordered one for this home, too. So now I will have two of them. Thank goodness for Amazon's 2-day shipping, because I'll have the book tomorrow.

I'm having trouble coming up with a goal. I'm considerably older than most of you, from what I can tell, (I'm 66) and very content, except that I miss my hubby who is in the cold weather. I've lost a lot of weight, so if I lose more that's OK, but it's OK if I don't. I'm happy with my eating routine - it works for me and I am hardly ever very hungry.

When I get my book, I'll let you know what I'm making!

    Annie

BTW Renee, are you having to buy new clothes? That's been an expensive proposition for me, but you can only go down so many sizes before it's a must!

Everyone's food looks and sounds amazing!

    Today:
Bananas : quit counting , lol
    grapes
spicy walnut taco meat lettuce wraps
    kale chips
chocolate pudding made with almond milk and dates
and currently prepping in the dehydrator:
the famous.....fajitas!!!!! I froze the veggies so that they would be softer.

Planning a bedtime smoothie , still gotta get it in. But I really want that coconut...sigh. I am sooooo making coconut cream pie in the next week or two. Have been craving it like a fiend. Contemplating some ice cream, too. (must be pms'ing )

Last night I had the most amazing meal. I will recreate it and take pics and post this weekend. It was just incredible. Wilted spinach, marinated crimini/button mushroom mix, and fettucine alfredo. MY SIL was in town for the night and I made them a cooked meal that included alfredo, and mine tasted so much like the real thing I was really thrilled.

I'm having trouble coming up with a goal.
I think you found a goal without even realising it... your goal is to continue on your peaceful path of contentment, and to inspire, rejuvenate, and nurture others as they seek that path for their own lives!!!

Now see? You didn't even have to change anything - you've already been doing that! ;)

    Thumbs up

Renee- THANK YOU For inspiring me to FINALLY make Alissa's LASAGNA!
It was the BEST thing I have made in the Dehydrator and tasted so close to veggie lasagna. I was Amazed. ANd I have some left for tomorrow, and maybe the next day, too, If I can hold back from eating it all tomorrow!!
Cooked Veggie Lasagna is my favorite cooked food, followed by Pizza. How wonderful to have a truly delectable RAW version!. I can't believe how much the flavors deepened while dehydrating over night. AMAZINGLY GOOD!!!!! YUMMMMM
Now I have to try the Calzone you have fallen for. If it's anywhere near as good as the Lasagna I will have 2 new central favorites to get me through a very frigid New England Winter. (we are supposed to have snow on Friday-brrrrr) The denser dehydrated dishes may help me get through the deep cold.
    Today;
    B. Green Juice and Apple
    L Veggie and Salad
D Salad and ALissa's Amazing Lasagna
Dessert- Slice of rapberry/blueberry chocolate mousse pie (YUM)

    Keep on Rawkin'

    Default Day 5...of 90

Yes!!! 35 Minutes!!! I timed myself!!! Of course, I had all of the ingredients on the counter ready to go which helped, I'm sure... Plus, I did not wash the Food Processor between spins...like when I made the Torte, I made the body of it, put it on a plate then went straight into making the frosting. After that, I rinsed the Processor and went straight into making the Marinara Sauce, etc...

SIZES!!! I'm SO GLAD you said that!!! I forgot to tell you that I went from a size 18 to a size 14!!!! My uniform is SOOOOO much looser!!! I will have to buy new uniform pieces as I continue...NOT complaining about that!!! I've lost mostly in my waist and rear area! THANK YOU GOD!!!! I used to wear my Bra on the third knotch, now it's on the FIRST...comfortably!!!! At the end of my new 90 days, I'm gonna take some full body shots and post them...not sure I'll do bathing suit, though!!! I don't think I have the nerve!!! But, I also have had the most incredible BM's!!!!!!

This month my "ladies day" snuck up on me!!!! This is the 3rd month RAW that I have ***NOT*** had PMS!!!! I'm SOOO thrilled about that!!!!

Today I had mostly fruit: Clementines, Bananas, Apples. Here's what I had for dinner: Alissa's Calzone (I re-made 5 of them!!!) and Cucumber Salad. It's definitely one of my favorite dishes now!!!!

Hey, the coolest thing happened today! I went to my mother's house and she loved the CALZONE!!! I also let her taste my leftover Zucchini Hummus and she LOVED that also!!! It was so cool!!! At first, we had the Hummus with Cucumbers. Then she tried it with Alissa's Flax Crackers and loved it even more!!! I hadn't even tried it with the crackers! She showed me something!!! My Mom even asked me to make her a week of meals so that she can try to go RAW!!! Isn't that WONDERFUL!!!! She has Fibromyalgia and High Blood Pressure, so I'll be getting together a simple menu for her and making food, probably next week...

Renee, stop posting pictures! Stop, I say!!! You're making me drool on my laptop keyboard!!!

I have to make the calzone now. I was informed by a friend that a stand at the Farmer's Market is a lady selling SPROUTS. If I find a source for wheatberry sprouts, there are a billion things I long to try...

I made more BAKED MAC'N CHEESE tonight and a huge batch is crisping in the dehydrator overnight... but I ate a HUGE bowl full before I could even warm it up. It was so amazing... I used yellow squash this time and it was just... wow... I have no words. Except that it was luscious, creamy, rich, vibrant and delicious all at once.

I shared a bite with my roommate and she wanted more.

    I LOVE RAW!!!

P.S. Kombucha was on sale at my local market for 50% off, so I stocked up on a dozen bottles, which should last me a month. It's a splurge I would not normally allow myself but since my darling fiance is helping foot the bill, I'm going places with RAW I've never let myself go before. I have full cupboards, a full fridge, and a full belly and I'm just having sooo muuuuch FUN!

Renee, I had fibro, chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, and Type II diabetes. Raw has reversed everything except the fibro. I am off all meds. I am thinking that what you have done here has gotten you ready to coach your mom into raw. Good luck!

Is there a way to contact you personally through the board so we don't have to post email addy's?

crunching on some delicious red seedless grapes. prior to that I had an awesome smoothie - coconut water, apple, some cacao, a lemon (always a lemon) and spinach. Kale chips too.

I sipped a bit of Green Smoothie for breakfast and now I'm resting with my sore back against a heat pad and nibbling on Eggplant Bacon... I'm going to rename it Teriyaki Eggplant!!! Because it has a teriyaki flavor and I LOVE it.

I also popped a creamy batch of Baked Macaroni and Cheese in my dehydrator and will eat that for my lunch when it's warm!

I sooooo want a camera... will attempt to take pics of food later with my webcam, but it's just not the same! I'm having so much fun making recipes, guys - I could get used to this.

DAY #5 for me... and I'm lovin' it!!!

My next major recipe endeavor will be to make those luscious Calzones you posted photos of. They look RaWMazing!!
How absolutely wonderful that you mom wants you to cater Raw FOods for her. You are becoming one raw chef extrawdinaire

I Loved the Lasagna so much I made another batch today. It really isn't very hard after you make it once. Both times I only made one of the cheeses to simplify. I only make the ricotta cheese recipe with macadamias. It still came out to LIVE FOR!! The absolute best flavors!!! LOVE IT!!!

I can only imagine what the Calzones are like! YUMM

Green Woman, You are getting my taste buds craving a raw mac and cheeze. That is now also on my must make list!!

Tigger bounce - Your alfredo dressing success sounds really delectable, too! Look forward to hearing more about it!

    For Today
Breakfast Green Juice and Green Smoothie
Lunch Alissa's Lasagna and a little salad
Dinner Salad and the rest of the Lasagna (thank goodness another batch is in the dehydrator. lol
