    OMGoodness, Renee, I'm pleasantly overwhelmed!!!

I've made raw vegan lasagna before and it was FABULOUS!!! It only took me about 30 minutes total to prepare, and I didn't even dehydrate it before serving. It's THE favorite recipe in this house... both for my fiance and I, and for our NON-raw friends.

I used Dr. Gabriel Cousen's recipe from his book RAINBOW GREEN LIVE-FOOD CUISINE... now I want to try Alissa's recipe!!!

Oh, and today I made a run to the Farmer's Market up the street and stocked up on local, raw, unfiltered honey. I respond MUCH better to honey than to agave nectar as a sweetener.

Some of you all won't want to use it since it's made by bees. :)

I also got organic, locally-grown tomatoes, cucumber, apples, green mint tea powder for sun-tea, and I can't remember what else.

I spent far more than I would normally, but the honey/tea will last me at least a month so it was a worthwhile splurge!

I'm definitely basking in the warm, happy feeling of the "RAW High" I always get the first few weeks on 100% RAW.... sometimes I think I might be downright ADDICTED to feeling GOOD!!!!!!!!

Welcome to those who just joined us... and dive in!!!

    I LOVE RAW.

This weekend I did some uncooking! I made RAWcaroni n cheeze, bacun, an apple cobbler, and kale chips, all while snacking on honey crisp apples, salads, and nori rolls.

    Default Day 3......of 90

    Morning RAWbies!!!

Yea, it's STILL morning for me cuz I had to work last night!!! As a matter of fact, I'm working with the same crew tonight and they want me to bring more Living Food for them to try!!!! YEA!!!!!!

What to make...what to make!!!!!???? O.k., I think I'm gonna bring Alissa's Zucchini Pasta w/Marinara Sauce, Broccolini Salad, and Alissa's Date Nut Torte...all are easy and take only minutes to make! Yesterday I had samples of Eggplant Bacon, Alissa's Basic and Banana Flax Crackers, and Alissa's Hummus with Celery which went over VERY well with the crew!!! I had taken a Green Smoothie and drank it on the Road!!!

One Co-worker kept objecting to using the name "RAW" to describe what we're eating! She likes "Living Food" better! Actually, I do too!!!

So, I'm off to prepare my goodies for my flight tonight!!! I'll let you know what the final dishes will be...I might add on a few other nibbles! :)

I'm here! LOOOOONG DAY.... I am sitting with my back pressed up against a HEAT PACK in a desperate attempt to alleviate the pain that started 10 days ago.

I'm praying my 100% RAW will help the inflammation go down, ASAP.

I update nearly daily here at my Website but also try to check in here daily. :) I haven't done my goals yet, have I? Let me check...

I'm working on that whole CAMERA thing!!! Right now I just have my webcam and it's not easy to take food pics with it.

Commit to Update at least 3x's weekly for accountability, support and encouragement!

    Check.

Increase your GREEN SMOOTHIE intake to at least 30 oz. (1/2 Vitamix-full) daily by the end of the Challenge!

I may actually already be there, since I drink generally 1 Vitamix full every day or two. So... perhaps I should make my personal goal to drink 1 Vitamix-full EVERY DAY by Day 30!

    Increase your FRESH WATER intake!

I intend to be drinking 1 gallon of fresh water daily by Day 30. My body craves and thrives on fresh water!!!

Yippee! I'm in! I'll be eating pretty simply since I am away from home to a warmer place for a couple of months. My routine, which works very well for me, is only fruit in the morning. Then I have a green smoothie for lunch, and whatever floats my boat for dinner, usually a veggie salad. I very rarely eat things that combine fruit and nuts, but love them when I do. I'm inspired by all of you and just what I've read so far. I guess I need to decide on a goal, but I'm just happy as a clam taking it one day at a time. Thanks to everybody.

    Default Day 4...of 90

Annie!!! I'm SOOO GLAD you're here!!!!

O.k., last night was AWESOME!!!! I had a flight to work, so I made the crew a hearty meal!!! (FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW, I'M A FLIGHT ATTENDANT...) Believe it or not, but all of the prep work for this meal took exactly 35 minutes!!!!

    Menu:

Alissa's Zucchini Pasta w/Marinara Sauce (Mushroom Marinated in Braggs on top)
    Cornbleet's Not Tuna Pate
    Alissa's Flax Crackers w/Banana & Agave
    Alissa's Date Nut Torte
    Rawvolution's Broccolini Salad

AND HERE'S MY CO-WORKERS!!! MY CREW!!!

The LOVED everything!!! The male flight attendant said that, although being a huge meat and potatoes man, he thought that the food was quite filliing...! He even had 2 plates full!!!

One of the girls said that she wanted me to come over and show her how to make these wonderful dishes!!! I SOOOO NEED YOUR CLASS, ALISSA!!!!

Renee, you need to TEACH the class.

Starting with sharing recipes here... right now... OMG, I need to go by the market on my way home and get mushrooms. But I don't know what kind. :Q And my recipe book is at home... aaaah!

Note to self: make a few notecards with RECIPES I want to try for dinners this week and bring it TO THE OFFICE so I can grab ingredients on the way home.

    I LOVE RAW!!!

Day #4 of 100% over here in the balmy Southwest... I need more sleep, but that's just because Mr. Green is on a long business trip and I stay up too late every night talking to him. ;)

On the whole I feel GOOD.

    Renee,

It is sooo wonderfully Awesome about your sharing living food with your flight crew! What a great happy photo, too. YOU are such a wonderful Light of Health and change out in the world. ANd yes, I agree with Greenie, YOu need to be teaching the class!!!

YOu are a wonderful raw food chef. Your food photos are so delectable! Of course, taking Alissa's class will be amazing, too!!
Thanks to your encouragement, I actually made Alissa's Lasagna. It is in the dehydrator until tomorrow. I only made one form of nut cheese, the ricotta. I made the 2 different sauces, and layered with the veggie pasta.
And I added spiralized carrots to the zuchinni pasta. I will have this tomorrow. I can't wait!!!!

Green Woman - The idea of having some recipe cards in the car is really great! That is when I am out shopping and wondering about ingredients for recipes on my mind.

    Today:

Breakfast: Green Juice and an apple

    Lunch Green Smoothie

Dinner, Leftover Spinach with curry sauce and cauliflower rice.

I have made a new dessert today, too!

A RAW raspberry/blueberry chocolate mousse uncheesecake which I will sample before the night is through.;)

    Keep on Rawkin" Folks!
