Welcome on-board everyone who is committed to doing 90-Days consecutively of 100% RAW living!!!

I'm in with you all! Not that I'm not eating 100% Raw anyway...but yeah, ReneeH was such an inspiration!
Come on kidz. Let's play with our food like Revvell says.
So we're gonna do photos of our dishes, right?
Weigh-ins? Not that you have to share...
Any other guidelines? Oh! I have a good one! Water consumption.
Let's do this!
Let's RAWk!!!
-
Veganforlife: I was hesitant to post "guidelines" because I wasn't sure how well that would be received, but since you suggested it, I'll list the ones I thought might be helpful!
90-Day 100% RAW Vegan Challenge - Guidelines - Post your Specific Goals for the next 90-Days (EXAMPLES: Weight Loss in lbs., Skin health, Detox, Heal yourself of xxxx, Reduce Pain from xxxx, etc., etc.!)
- Post photos of your progress -- especially photos of RAW FOOD!!! Yummm....
- Commit to Update at least 3x's weekly for accountability, support and encouragement!
- Increase your GREEN SMOOTHIE intake to at least 30 oz. (1/2 Vitamix-full) daily by the end of the Challenge!
- Increase your FRESH WATER intake!
Rawk on, RAWBIES!!!
You are not responsible for others reactions to you or assumptions about you. You are only responsible for your response to others.
-
Sooooo this is all raw for ninety days? What if I mess up? What happens?
-
Then if YOU screw up, YOU have to be accountable for yourself. I think it's that we all will be striving to be 100% Raw for 90 days. For some this will be easy, for others a little more difficult.
Are you committing?
-
Sometimes it's very easy for me to be 100%, other days I'm in a hurry and just want convenience foods... so it boils down to a CHOICE - and that choice is ONLY yours. :)
Just remember: we miss 100% of the Shots we don't take!

On Board
I'm so inspired by Renee's journey that I would really like to join this new Challenge.:) I have recently re-returned to a 100% raw commitment.;)
I don't have access to a digital camera at the moment, but perhaps one will manifest along the way. I know I loved Renee's photos. They really brought the whole journey to LIFE!
Questions regarding guidelines;
Is part of the aim of this particular Raw Challenge to follow a more Simple Raw Diet? (I know Renee has mentioned that she is ready to simplify her diet.)
If so,I am not sure what that excludes, if anything? Or is this a more personal decision?
In terms of recipes, are only Living on Live Food recipes encouraged?
Just curious, since I know that Renee was following Alissa's Diet Plan from Living on Live Foods as much as she could.
If there are any other guidelines besides the ones already listed, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!!
PS My goal is to transform and release 15-20 pounds.
Today's Blissful Food
Breakfast: Green-banana-berry smoothie and a nectarine.
Lunch was a very yummy and filling Recipe I found on the RFT Recipe Forum . It was "ERTAROX'S (UN)STEAK FAJITAS!"posted by StinkyB found below;
http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=50293
Wow! I had never tried this one before and it was so tasty!
Dinner: I had 16 oz of Greeeeen juice made with Kale, Celery and an Organic Apple, my dessert was a very small slice of heavenly blueberry un-cheesecake. yum
I look forward to checking in with people and sharing encouragement and support. Thanks for being the Rawkin! catalysts for this 90 Raw Challenge.

Whether you choose to make fun, fancy recipes or just eat mono-foods is ENTIRELY up to you, as long as the foods you choose are 100% RAW Vegan!
Keep it simple by keeping your thinking about it all simple. Alissa's plan is to basically eat what you want, when you want, as long as it's raw! She does have a 30-day plan and if you want to follow that, I highly encourage it. :)
I LOVE RAW!

Day 1 & 2...
:...RUNS....RUNS....RUNS INTO THE THREAD!!!!:
HEY YOU RAWbies!!!!! I'm HERE!!!!
Yesterday I had to work and, let me tell you how God takes care of you....I MET A 100% RAW FLIGHT ATTENDANT CO-WORKER!!!!! She's been 100% RAW for over 5 years and she looks FABULOUS!!! It was so great to have an interchange of encouragement!!!
O.k., yesterday I had 2 Bananas and Grapes till lunch. I made a RAW Lasagne which took only 15 minutes to make and had that for Lunch and Dinner with a Salad. I took Flax Crackers and Salad with me on my flight.
Today I'm starting off with a Green Smoothie!!!! I'm craving my LAST PIECE of Alissa's Calzone!!!! So I'll put that in my dehydrator and take it on my flight tonight!!! In between, I'm just gonna have fruit and Salad.... Yes, gotta work again tonight AND Monday night!!!! So, keeping things as simple as possible will help me to get through these work days...
WWWWHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!! LET'S ALL HOLD HANDS AND SAVOUR THESE NEXT 89 DAYS!!!!!!!

Hey, you gotta try Alissa's Mango Pie!!! It's FABULOUS!!! ...freeze it, though... It didn't get solid enough in the frig for me!!!
-
Reaching out to offer support and enthusiasm!
Hi Green Woman, Thanks for your response. Gotcha!;)
My plan is to eat 2 simple meals a day, and one derived from Alissa's book, or from the Recipe threads on RFT.
My more complicated meal will probably during lunch, Breakfast will be fruit and or/ green juice/ green smoothies.
Wow. Renee!!! How Awesome and Wonderful for you to meet a like-minded RAW Food colleague! That's truly a miracle, and added incentive to keep on keepin' on!
I made a lovely Greeeen Juice for Breakfast,
followed by a luscious Honey Crisp apple! My all-time favorite!!!
Lunch was a large Green Salad topped A sweet red pepper and Spinach marinated with Indian spices and currants. Yummy!
I will be having a Green Smoothie for dinner and another luscious piece of Blueberry UnCheesecake.
Renee, I want to try ALissa's Lasagna recipe. I have always been daunted by what looked like a very complicated process. Do you have any tips you would like to share?
I also am dying to make some of the Egglplant Bacon you made during your first 60 days. That sounds so Yummy.
Then there's the Mango Pie you just mentioned. If I come upon any nice looking mangos, I will try this as my next dessert!
I am definitely reaching out to Hold your hands and intend to appreciate the next 90 days together!!
Ciao, Raw Warriors!

Hey Elena!!!
Thank you so much for re-posting the link for the recipe from "ERTAROX'S (UN)STEAK FAJITAS!" posted by StinkyB!!! How did I miss that!!!! That's DEFINITELY on my TO DO list!!!
Alissa's Lasagne that I made was SO good. I'm licking my lips right now just thinking about it!!! But, it did take a lot of prep work for me and was time consuming (i.e. chopping veggies/assembling)... A more simplier Lasagne which should only take about 10-15 minutes to prepare (and just as yummy) would be to:
Peel Zucchini then make long Zucchini "Strips" w/veggie peeler, then make Alissa's Marinara Sauce, Cut button Mushrooms & Onions & soak in Nama Shoyu for a few minutes, Cut Avacado and Tomatoes lengthwise, Chop some Spinach...
Assemble each layer (Sauce, Zucchini, Sauce, Spinach, Mush/Onions, Avacado, Tomatoes, repeat if you need to....), leaving some Mushrooms/onions/Tomato for the top. Dehydrate for 1 hour...

It DEFINITELY IS!!! One of my "staples" now!!! You can use it to make BLT Sandwiches, eat it with a Salad, or if you just want something to "nibble" on... I use the recipe on RFT that RAWkinlocs made up with the liquid smoke. It uses less EVOO and taste's better to me... I usually soak mine for at least 3 hours... Here it is again on Onion Bread.... (I NEVER get tired of looking at this photo!!!!)

AAAAHHHH YES, Alissa's Mango Pie!!! Heavenly I tell you!!! It's one of the most simpliest recipes in her book, yet, it reminds me of a Banana popsicle meets Almond Delight!!!

Here is Alissa's Key Lime Pie!!!

Let us know what you decide to make!!! I'm getting ready to make a Green Smoothie to take to work with me. Couldn't exercise a lot today, but I did do a 10 minute Ab workout!!!
Have a RAWsome evening everyone!!!

Renee - You are a Raw Food ANgel and Goddess combined!:)
Those lovely photos are mouth-watering!!!
Thanks so much for your "Short Cut" Lasagna recipe.
I have most of those ingredients, just need to pick up mushrooms, so I will try that in a day or two.
The only time I ever tried to make Eggplant Bacon, I over-dehydrated the eggplant and it came out like a very tough "jerky" that I couldn't even chew.
It is time to try again after seeing your yummy success.I have some eggplant, but no liquid smoke. I may try to make it tomorrow anyway, following Rawklinocs recipe here on RFT, except without the liquid smoke and see how it goes.
Girl, that Mango Pie looks Divine!!!!

I'd love to jump onboard the Raw 90 day Express!
Hi there...I'm re-joining this forum to keep inspired and maybe even inspire others on my raw journey. This 90 day Raw Challenge sounds great.
Count me in!
My goals are:
1. To lose 25 lbs. healthily eating this way.( I'll post my start weight as soon as I find my scale- I hid it away months ago)
2. To exercise 4-5 days per week.
3. To stay at 100% even when my mother-in-law visits us for 2 friggin' weeks in November (my anti-vegan, anti-anything but the SAD way of eating mother in law)
4. To start feeling more energetic again.
5. To get rid of this nagging and debilitating lower back pain and sciatica.
That's it. Thanks in advance for your support!
