it happens. unfortunately that's part of what can happen when you post pics of yourself on the internet... they can be used for something other than what you want them used for.

I think her name is Brittany (not sure how it's spelled). I just saw her picture on We Like it Raw, too. Not sure how to let her know though...

I can't say I'm surprised that they would steal someone pictures and represent them, though.

That particular product is the scam one. My friend got caught by that one. She signed up for the free sample and gave her credit card number to pay the postage and they took over €500 from her account.
She was in touch with the distributor in Scotland and he (probably just one distributor) is sending out one and a half million sterling worth of product a week.
Stealing someone's identity would not bother scam artists like these.There is sufficient in the world for man's need, but not for his greed.

things like this can always happen....it shouldn't stop us from posting our pics though. I don't envy those people,-all that energy they send out into the world will definitely come back to them one day

She should know....
I got in touch with someone who is connected to her last year sometime, I think.
This person at first thought I was "ratting" on her, and not trying to do a good deed by letting her know.
Bottom line, she should know by now... whether or not she gave permission and what not, she at least knows that her pictures are showing up.
It stinks that people do swipe others stuff, though...

Contrary to popular opinion, it is not permissible to steal photos, no matter where they are posted. It is copyright infringement. There are definite steps that can be taken to get the photos removed. If I was Brittany and they were my photos I would definitely get in touch with the powers that be and follow through.
I am not a stickler, but I would find that totally unacceptable!

I feel anything that gets put "out there" is open for grabs, unfortunately...I'm not saying that makes it right by any means...
