Default Embarrasing Question for Women Only....

I have very large breasts....huge actually. And NO it is no fun. I was nicely well endowed as a teenager, but with each baby they got bigger and stayed that way. I have lost almost 30 pounds doing raw, but my breast size has not reduced one iota. I am still wearing the same bra size, and in spite of the fact that I know I have lost back fat, I can't even cinch them in a notch. I tried one day and was in agony by the end of the day . So my question to experienced raw fooders who have the same build? Did you eventually notice a nice reduction in breast size? My plan is to have surgical reduction once I reach 140 pounds if I still need it, but I would like not to need it! BTW I have lost lots of weight before and did not lose in the chest, but I was hoping raw would be different. My 18yo daughter, who did not have much to begin with, lost in her chest. My 16yo is built like me but has not been raw long, so I don't know if she has lost there or not.

Hmmmmm that sounds like something time will tell. I hope that does happen for you. I can see how it would be as my sister in law was like that. SHe has lots of problems due to the weight on top of her body.

Hoping all the best for you sweet.

I lost a lot of weight 10 years ago (SAD diet) and had a breast reduction. I also had a tummy tuck and facelift, but the breast reduction was the least painful of all my operations. Every time i lose weight i DO lose breast size though, but after losing over 100 pounds they needed to be lifted.

you sure the front hasn't gone down any...do they fit into the cups better? Maybe the back is fitting better than b4 but bc we can't see a big change it appears as none. Mine have gone down & my bras fit me better. I've lost back fat & the hooks are more comfy, I do not hang over/under the bra like I did b4. I still cannot go in a size but they sure feel better.

    Hey katchmoleen,
I am betting that they will be the last place that the weight leaves, but it will happen. The estrogen in the female body deposits adipose stores in places that are easily accessible for pregnancy and breastfeeding...so the thighs, hips, bums, and breasts. My boobs are the last place to lose weight, or so I am discovering. Hang in there, it will happen eventually!

I agree with Azaria. If you lose enough fat, then eventually, it just has to come off. But where you gain/lose first/last tends to be genetic.

I am just like you. I gain first in the breasts, and lose last in the breasts. Those buggers just want to be big.

I do not have any back problems though, but do notice that I'm getting indentations in my trapezius muscles from tight bras.

Gaby, is it true that with breast reductions, they cut off your nipples, and move them higher? That's the part that gets me.

Yup, that is true. The funny part is that it was truly the least painful of all my surgeries, tummy tuck having been the most painful. (also worth it)

I have more questions for you Gaby, but don't want to hijack this thread. What would be the best way to ask them?

OT: I did email you about a book exchange, but never heard from you....

But they don't cut the superficial tissue off and move it.....they keep it attached to the nerve and blood supply. Some women can even continue to breastfeed, though the tell you not to count on that. One woman I talked to said sensation was the same.

thank goodness you are totally asleep and under while they do this. i don't know what is left attached, it makes sense that the nerve and blood supply is left alone, but i can tell you that i had suture lines all around both nipples. They also downsize the actual size of the nipples, which get much larger when you've had several kids who you have breastfed.....
